Petronas were quickest at the intermediate check, and build on that advantage to take a 9 second lead
Red Bull storm through the final section of the course to immediately take the lead off Petronas by 13 seconds, just enough to knock Van der Velde out of the provisional yellow
Benfica take 4th at +33"
Yamaha close us out in 5th place 37" back
So Hansen takes Yellow, and Parra Bustamante's loss of time on stage one may cost Reb Bull dearly at the end of the race. One other thing to note is Cobo, despite being Santander's best time trialist somehow lost a few seconds at the end, what was he thinking, and how much will that hurt him come the finish.
