Almost the same profile like yesterday's mountain stage... but this time, the other way round: 94km in total, no intermediates, this one should be one for the sprinters.

Will Aberasturi repeat his victory from the opener? Or will Greipel bounce back this time?

No real threat for the GC, so they are allowed to go for 3'45"-gap as we almost reach the second half of this stage.

Stretched field? Yes, some strong crosswinds (35kmh) make this day much harder than it was expected to be:

20km before finish, the hard chasing bunch (the gap is cut down to 1'10" thanks to Privatbank, Bacardi and Quickstep setting the pace) goes into pieces with only 49 riders remaining in the first group!

1'33" later, the first peloton sprints for the final Top-5 spot, which is taken by i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/mac.png Granjel Cabrera ahead of i439.photobucket.com/albums/qq112/Gustavovskiy/microjerseys14/bac.png Abarasturi. This will give Cabrera the provisional lead in the points competition.

Group Gadret/Elissonde would lose 4'02" eventually, while group Stetina would cross the line at 6'12"! So the mentioned riders, as well as some other minor GC-contenders, lost some ground today. Tough luck.

Marquez enters the final day as the GC-leader though. With just 8" on Kiserlovski and 26" on Intxausti, there's still some work to do on that hilly stage. Especially Kiserlovski may hope for his skills on short climbs to pay off.
