After a week of racing we end with a flat stage. Baring crashes, Valverde has come out as the big winner. The favorites for this final flat stage are Greipel, Serebriakov and Haedo.
Today we get a traditional break, with one little difference. The peleton keeps them in close range. They never get more then 3 minutes. In the final downhill, they get reeled in and we're going to have a clean sprint.
One big train comes up and California Giant has learned from their past mistakes. They have 2 riders in front of Haedo this time. Haedo is followed by Guillen, Greipel and Borghesi.
Tolleson starts the sprint. Borghesi is also making his move. In the back we see Serebriakov coming.
In the final corner, both Haedo and Greipel make their move. Guillen is boxed in a little. This finally looks to be Haedo's win.
But Greipel comes awefully fast, and pulls himself next to Haedo.
And passes him for the win. His second one. This also brings him on the same amount of points as Valverde. Haedo is second for the 3th time in this race. Borghesi gets the final podium spot.
