SPOILER ALERT: this is probably the most boring stage of PCM I have ever played.

Today sees the riders tackle a monster 238km of Polish terrain, ending up in Opole, which Wikipedia says has a Green Bridge, so good for them.

After yesterdays exciting finish which saw Michael Torckler (Cadburys) take an impressive win and yellow, will we see some exciting racing again? The answer is a resounding no.

Here we have the BOTD forming. It contains one rider, Robby Meul (Banco Nacional de Costa Rica), escaping with 230km to go.

And here we have him being caught with 35km to go, with his lead never going above five minutes. And don't worry, nobody bothered to sprint for the mountain sprint.

It's worth noting that Oleksandr Polivonda (Privatbank) took 2nd on all 3 intermediate sprints to move him within 4 points of the points jersey, and Francisco Lasca (Kappa - ENI) took a single third place to move within 1 point. Evaldas Siskevicius (Ekspa - Cision) took the two other 3rd places. They also gained some bonus seconds.

Trains only started forming with 7km to go, and here we see Privatbank going into the last corner with 5km to go in great shape, leading out Maksimov. Every single rider is in the peloton, except for Meul.

But as the sprint started, Hans Dekkers (Allianz) came flying past at 75km/h, and immediately opened up a huge gap

Belletti (Magna) and Gavazzi (Ekspla) were the closest chasers to Hans

Maksimov finally burst through, travelling much faster than a slowing Dekkers. Maybe he's going to catch...

Dekkers wins, Maksimov second, Belletti third. Lasca moves two seconds closer in the GC, Polivoda moves up to third.
