It's a very short TTT today and as usual in time trials, Accumalux are the favourites, although as pointed out by Sir Crommy, it is often decided upon which man each team puts on front of their "train" at the start of the stage, in these very short team time trials.

Flogas were the first to set off and they managed the quickest time of the day!!!!

AG2R then equalled that time (4'28), but the judges put them into 2nd place behind FloGas.

France Televisions went slightly quicker next with a 4'27, so they take the lead for the time-being. Many teams go past without any real time triallers until Carlsberg hit the road.

They take the lead!! With a 4'27, exactly the same time as France TV but the judges decide the Carlsberg go into the lead. Next through are the favourites, Accumalux...

They do a 4'32!! Down in 8th place, not living up to their expectations, but Carlsberg maintain their brilliant season and win the stage today. Eric Baumann will wear yellow for the next stage. However the judges decide that they don't like FloGas and award 3rd place to AG2R after preliminarily giving it to FloGas.
