On paper, this stage is even more flat than stage 1 was. A large part of this one is actually downhill... Therefore, the favourites are the same: Can Martinez take another victory? Can Manarelli and Anuawar revenge the stage 1 result? We'll see.

First, though, unlike on stage 1, there's two intermediate sprints on this one, providing both bonus seconds and points. Rincon took the first one ahead of Radolcha and Barclay.

With no attacks appearing on stage 2 either - they must be saving themselves for the mountains - the 2nd and last intermediate sprint was left for the sprinters to contend.
This time, Radolcha won ahead of Barclay and Rincon - and due to that, Radolcha took the 3rd place in the virtual Points Classification.

25 km later, the peloton was lined up for the sprint. After an incredible lead out from Manarelli, Anuawar and Chacon had gained a reasonable gap to the rest of the peloton - although the Quiksilver duo of Nizzolo and Martinez had just managed to hang on.

With 1 km to go, it was clear that Red Bull were going to take the victory. Two man in front, Anuawar and Chacon, Manarelli and Rincon further behind and with Nizzoli/Martinez in between the two duos. Success for Red Bull!

Anuawar looks at his team mate - but the victory is Anuawar's! Incredible one-two for Red Bull - and to top it off, it's actually a one-two-three as Rincon passes the line shortly after!
