Duret takes the first, ahead of Tondo and Naibo

Theres a crash in the descent, Ratiy, Hulsmans, Vastaranta, Flecha, Gretsch, Di Gregorio, Walker, Gomez Marchante, Deignan, Garzelli, Sobota, Augustyn and Eibegger. They will all make it back though

Tondo takes climb #2 ahead of Schwab and Bellotti

A break then went away and was allowed to stay clear - Vila, Mugerli, Mehr-Wenige, Salerno, Duenas Nevado, Engels, Duret, Naibo, Bouet and Berard.

Climb 3 went to Salerno before Duenas Nevado and Mugerli

Naibo took the next 2 climbs, with Mugerli taking the 3rd

With things being so widely spread, its very close in the KoM competition - but the jersey tomorrow will be worn by Xavier Tondo.

The break still led approaching the final climb, but are being caught - while Pereiro has attacked the pack and got a gap just ahead of Monfort and Barredo

The latter 2 are caught as Pereiro bridges up to the breakaway

Pereiro, Sanchez Gil and Hagen link up and press on over the climb to make the most of their advantage - no sign of action from Schleck or Sanchez Gonzalez - although Accumalux are chasing

Iglinski and Schleck lead in the pack but a minute has been lost on Hagen and LL Sanchez.
