Another challenging stage today.

10th Overall Rigoberto Uran is in the breakaway, along with teammate Stubbe, Rodrigues Silva, Esparza, Duran, Anza, Scholz, Axelsson, Murgoitio and Lobato.

They built up a lead ready for the final climb and early on on the climb, attacks came from the peleton. Camano, Blanco, Pozzovivvo, Pereiro and Kohl led the way but Ghisalberti and Rojas Diaz were the strongest.

Up front, Uran was quickly on his own.

A flurry of attacks from the peleton further up the climb was enough to catch the likes of Pereiro, Pozzovivvo and Kohl but Ghisalberti and Rojas Diaz remained ahead as they caught Anza, Scholz and Lobato - with only Uran up ahead.

Ghisalberti attacked away from the chase group to go after Uran but with 2km to go, Uran still had a good lead.

And yes, Uran is able to hold on for victory, taking the KoM jersey while he's at it.

Ghisalberti goes 2nd, while Rojas Diaz takes 3rd.
