On Stage 4, the finish comes just after the top of the closest thing to a hill you will find in this race.
Robert Gavenda wants the lead as best young rider break, so sets off alone. He builds a lead over 3 and a half minutes, but ING destroy that when setting a high tempo in the run in to the first intermediate sprint.
Gavenda does hold on to take the 6 seconds he needs though.
Kip takes 2nd, with Abdallah 3rd.
Gavenda stayed ahead, but was swept up as the race closed in on Sprint #2, where Kip takes a clear win over Wippert and Abakoumov.
Kip won the final intermediate sprint too, with Abakoumov 2nd and another ING rider Thire in 3rd. Vasylyuk had tried to take 3rd, but came from too far back and ran out of time to get ahead of Thire.
So having dominated the intermediate sprints, ING set to work on the finish. Thire leading out Kip. Hochmann again showing good positioning skills, just infront of Roelandts.
Team WWE have decided to try today, unlike yesterday, and Vingerling and Greipel are both well placed.
Kip opens the sprint.
But with Vaitkus going quickly from behind, Roelandts makes his move, and fires himself into the lead.
Abdallah is well placed behind Vaitkus but it is Schinker who looks particularly fast right now.
But that isnt going to stop Roelandts. He wins another one!
Greipel came through for 2nd, while Vasylyuk and Veelers came through quickly behind him. And the Ukrainian takes his 3rd 3rd place in 4 stages!
Roelandts now leads most of the field by around a minute!
