After the minor excitement of climbing yesterday, we are back to the flat stuff today. Mohs, Croket and Vaitkus are favourites again.

It looked like no one would even bother with the first sprint, but Borrajo jumps clear at the last minute, Ingels and Knees roll through next.

Konte wins the second sprint due to a solo attack 5km before.

Borrajo sprints for second, while McLay leads the bunch through in third

The peloton start to chase, and the wind has picked up to 70km/h. It's currently a tailwind, but if the road turns we could have some massive splits.

Konte gets sprint 3.

Knees and Van der Velde are 2nd and 3rd. The peloton is looking fragile.

A 70km/h tailwind is making it hard to close the gap. A corner will change everhing though.

It doesn't look like we will get a corner though.

But Konte is caught.

So we have a messy sprint to decide the victory

Vaitkus accelerates away from the feild at 69 km/h, yet the wind is still trying to push him faster.

Mohs leads the chase after Vaitkus.

Vaitkus starts to tie up.

And Mohs finally wins a stage. Vaitkus holds onto 2nd from Croket, with Blythe in 4th.

So Mohs finally gets his sprint win after a dissapointing race so far. And tomrrow, the GC will be decided on the cobbles. Can Blythe get 37 seconds off Vaitkus?
