The continental season comes to a close, with the final stage here in Burkina Faso. Guess what? Its flat!

Behind them, the whole control team go on a short attack. Will any team pick any of them up this transfers, or will they be returning to the control team next year? We shall see

The break was caught with 11km to go, sorting out all intermediate sprints.

But with 9km to go there is sad news as the career of Stuart O'Grady ends his career on a sour note. On course for 13th overall, his best result of the year, he crashes.

And he wins his 3rd stage of the race, thus levelling up with Ben Swift as most successful continental sprinter of the season, and securing himself as the highest ranked sprinter on the individual rankings.
