There was not really a break at all today on this completely flat circuit race. Completely flat circuit race? Thats right, its crash time!

With 11km to go, Matt Rowe hits the deck ... taking 36 other riders with him.

It would be impossible to name them all, but on a quick glance its clear that the cobbled lineups of Procycling and B&O are affected. Backstedt, Hammond, Drucker and Breschel all crashed - while Procycling's Blythe would drop back to aid his teamamates.

With the crash out of the way, lets focus on the sprint. Huff is steering Haedo to the front with Sonnery and Corioni on the opposite side of the road. Theres 6.6km to go aaaaand HAEDO IS DOWN!

Also involved is fellow sprinter Clarke. This is a blow to Haedo's hopes of winning the individual rankings

Huff maintained his position at the front for the sprint but the ever present White Bear Steyr duo now have it much easier

But the Dutch Tour de France Stage winner must settle for 2nd as Corioni takes his 2nd stage win and with it, the leaders jersey!

JJ Haedo picked himself up quickly after his crash and put in a huge effort to regain the peleton. Of all the riders who went down, only he would lose no time

There was a further crash inside the final kilometre for some of those involved in the first crash. It forced the cause of all the mayhem, Matt Rowe, to abandon the race
