The last stage is a flat one made for sprinters so we should see any major changes in the overall rankings. Corioni and Van Avermaet are the big favorites being rated as the best 2 sprinters of the race.
Mancuso won the first intermediate sprint of the day
He was later joined in the lead of the race by Colby and Belmokhtar
Belmokhtar won the first categorised climb of the day and also the steepest portion of the stage
Energie - Diesel, Nos and Wii are leading the pack and they never let the escapes have more than 6 minutes advantage
Belmokhtar seems to be in great shape on the climbs today as he also wins the last categorised climb of the tour
If Belmokhtar took the KoM points, Mancuso took the points for the 'points' jersey winning 3 out of 2 intermediate sprints
But at the third and the last one he was only third, Colby winning the sprint
The pack was less than 1 minute there behind the escapes, catching them a few kilometers later. Even though they did almost all the work, Nos and Energie Diesel aren't at front anymore
It's clear now that there is going to be a mass sprint. Still no teams seems able to control the pack with 10 km left as Duran is doing a solo job in front
There were 2 crashes with 7 kilometers left but no big names involved. The 2 riders that crashed were Clarke, who could have had something important to say in today's sprint, and Jeannesson
In front we have the same Duran leading the pack, with the sprinters' teams somewhere behind him
With 5 kilometers to go Duran was finally gone. Rabon, Beppu and Ascani were leading the pack now for their teams sprinters
Rabon seems to be a little bit faster than the others
And when the sprint started the Nos riders had a clear lead, while the M&M riders are losing speed
Few moments later Rabon has dead and he left Van Avermaet in front with more than 2 kilometers left to ride
But the Belgian seems pretty strong and the only ones who could stop him are Richeze and Corioni, who both stayed in his wheel since the start of the sprint
As they entered the last kilometer Corioni and Richeze finally broke out from his slipstream
And the both seem to be a bit faster than Van Avermaet. It's going to be a close one
Very close indeed. But Corioni has to be happy with the 3rd place as it's going to be between Van Avermaet and Richeze for the stage win
And it's Van Avermaet who takes it at the fotofinish
Perez Cuapio finished safety in the pack and he is the winner of Tour de Slovenie, 2010 edition. He also won the points and KoM classification
