Remember to read stage 1 first, changes has happened since last time you read it
Today is flatter than flat. Three point sprints and not even an excuse of a KoM sprint today.
The favourites are pretty much the same as yesterday with most notable change is that Breschel has been moved from a clear favorite to a mere outsider.
Today started with a bunch of scattered attacks. Here we have a rider that wasnt supposed to attack taking the first sprint while Alaluusua (VRB) and Stenersen (B&O) is chasing him. Behind them we have another two groups consisting of Dermot Nally (NIB) and 5 riders there were also not supposed to attack. (Theories imply that using the Hard difficulty makes one man teams attack like crazy)
Shortly after we have a proper breakaway: Nally (NIB), Alaluusua (VRB), Stenersen (B&O), Tinajero (Free Agent) and two "retired" riders. Its important to note all of these riders came home over 2 minutes after yesterdays winner Keisse.
Todays second sprint: Alaluusua takes 1st, Stenersen 2nd and Nally 3rd. Tinajero was nowhere in sight as presumed missing from the breakaway.
With 70kms to go, they are currently holding a 5 minute lead to the pack.
Mertens and Kiserlovski is putting down some serious pace by doing 49 km/h over very long distances
Last sprint today. And once more: Alaluusua takes 1st, Stenersen 2nd and Nally 3rd.
But with 20kms to go, it was over, it would now be yet another sprintfinish.
(Also: crude drawing of white line. I wonder if people notices.)
Today's sopstory. For no reason whatsoever, Jørgensen is completely unable to follow the high pace in the pack. It is without a doubt, yesterday's fault.
4.2kms till home
Train! (White lines added to make the right, the middle and the left train more visible)
Right train: Bouet, Breschel, Huff, Gallardo, Anuawar.
Middle train: Said, Crane, Dionne, Turano, Keisse (in that yellow jersey thingy).
Left train: Jiriakov, Blythe.
2.3kms
We have movement!
Right train: Bouet, Breschel, Huff, Gallardo, Nelson, Anuawar, Gibb. And off the screen: Jason Kenny!
Left train: Dionne, Turano, Keisse, Nishitani, Abakoumov
Even lefterer off the screen: Procycling-BBC pretending to be a sprinter team.
0.8kms
Breschel and Huff is having staring contest for first.
Gallardo is holding third easily.
Anuawar is inching past some others for fourth.
Keisse isnt even in top 10.
Jason Kenny is still in the pack.
Jørgensen seems to have lost around 3'43" today. He is clearly injured.
Stage result:
GC:
Huff takes the lead, Keisse remains dignified. Jørgensen is 7 minutes behind now. If there's a rider you want know where is, ask because without the export option working, its easier than taking screenshots of all the riders.
[b]Sprinters jersey:
Huff also takes the lead here.
KoM:
No KoM points, no change.
U-25:
Keisse leads, Breschel 2nd. Anuawar and Gallardo is sharing 3rd.
