Last stage of the Irish race. Even though there are 4 clims on today's route none of them seems steep enough to make any huge differences. Still Visconti has to be really carefull if he wants to keep the yellow jersey and win the race.
There were 8 riders in the breakaway today but they went there into 2 groups, 4 riders each group. Dupont, Te Brake, Power and Burke were in the first group
Barclay, Munoz Giraldo, Cassidy and Sano were the riders in the second group
But on the first climb the 2 groups merged and we had a 8 men leading group. Cassidy won the first climb of the day but even if he wins all the climbs today he won't be able to take the KoM jersey away from Dempster. Munoz Giraldo and Power took the other podium places at the top
On the second climb Cassidy launched his attack too late and he was only third. Munoz Girlado and Dupont were the first 2 rides there
Irn Bru and 100% ME are leading the chase behind the breakaway group and with 33 kilometres left the escapes have less than 2 minutes lead
8 kilometres later their advantage was gone, only 30 seconds left. Power, Dupont, Te Brake and Cassidy tried their last chance with another attack
Munoz Giraldo, Sano, Barclay and Burke couldn't keep it up anymore and they were caught by the pack
Dupont and Power proved to be a little bit stronger than the other 2 and they were leading at the top of the third climb of the day
Cassidy and Te Brake managed to get the other KoM points there but right after that they were caught by the pack
Right before the race reached the final 20 kilometres Vorganov, Flugel and Hincapie attacked. Power and Dupont were caught and the day's breakaway ended
Hincapie, Vorganov and Flugel got away but they don't really work together and probably soon they will be back in the pack
They passed together the top of the climb, with Vorganov leading the group.
There were some attacks from the pack there for the other KoM points, one of the attackers being Dempster.
Those moves meant the end of Vorganov, Flugel and Hincapie's adventure on today's stage
With 7 kilometres left from the whole race there's no one in front of the pack which means that the final stage will end in a mass sprint
EON Ruhrgas and Wiggle seem to be the strongest teams there, for their sprinters De Fauw and Trusov
When the sprint started Rowe had the best position but it wasn't Trusov who was right behind him, it was Westling from Ikea - Bianchi. Also 100% Me are coming fast, near the Wiggle train, for Ben Swift, the winner of the first stage
And Swift had a great next 2 kilometres to enter the last one very close to the current leader, De Fauw
De Fauw isn't able to keep it up with Swift and the 100% Me rider takes the lead, but Mohs seems to be the fastest rider there
It was again too late for Mohs to do anything and Swift got his second stage win. De Fauw also lost the 3rd place to Westling
Visconti finished safety in the pack and had no problems keeping the yellow jersey. He is the 2010 winner of FBD Insurance Ras! Flugel and Hermans got the other podiums spots, while with today's bonification Swift managed to enter the top 10
Even though he had no stage win Mohs was almost always there in the sprints and he is the winner of the green jersey
Irn Bru also got the KoM jersey, Dempster wearing it on the podium
