Riding on the wave of Mccallum's stage win earlier in the day, Youtube-Twitter held the top 3 position at one point on the time trial - Bertogliati ahead of Burke and Page. Yamaha's Van Ooijen then edged ahead - before Jack Bobridge took a 7 second lead
Surprisingly, Ben Jacques-Maynes failed to beat Bobridge - although less than a second down. His teammate Tom Zirbel however, does take the lead - by 3 seconds
Manuel Lloret then takes the lead back for Petronas, by 6 seconds
Tom Peterson cant respond and take the lead again for Mercedes, but he does go 2nd, 3 seconds down
The battle for 4th place in GC now, Serpa v Ricco
And Serpa beats Ricco by 5 seconds.
Now to the matter of who wins this race. Ortega leads Evans by 14 seconds and Taaramae by 26 seconds - and you would expect Ortega to struggle against the other 2
Taaaramae does what he needs to do, winning the stage (1 second ahead of Lloret) but Evans is only 7 seconds slower - so holds on ahead of the Estonian in GC
So now Evans just needs to have been 14 seconds faster than Ortega.. its very close!
Theres 1 second in it .... going Ortega's way! He is only 13 seconds behind Evans, and the Colombian becomes the surprise winner of the Corsica International!
