Stage 2 is even flatter than stage 1, with Mohs Vantomme and Hushovd as favourites, although the KoM jersey should go to someone in todays break
Two men are leading the race as we go through the first sprint: Kiprotich and Van Aelbroeck. In the background you can see Carvalho who is crossing solo up to them.
All three of them want the mountains jersey, but Kiprotich puts himself in pole position winning the first climb ahead of the Belgian
He powers away to take climb 2 as well, and earn Rapha the jersey tomorrow. Carvalho manages second this time
Van Aelbroeck manages tto win this sprint, with Kiprotich second
And the order is the same at the days final sprint, with 40km to go the 3 leaders have 3'30" and this should be an easy catch
and it proves to be, with 12km to go Van Aelbroeck is the only one still left in front
9km to go and it's all together, Focus have an excellent chain going, still tucked in, waiting to pounce, with most of the other sprinters hovering just outside the top fifteen riders
As the road rises to go over a bridge Focus get trapped somewhat and Pokerstars come round the outside to challenge their chain.
They move Mohs into the perfect position with 5km left
Suddenly Focus are back on top, and as Mohs only has one lead out rider left perhaps it would be better to get on Drujons wheel, especially as Crocket and others are on his
Kluge powers back up to the front to give Mohs another lead out man. And Pokerstars swing left to block Focus in. Yesterday Mohs showed he was fastest, now they are showing they can set him up as well.
2km to go and Dumoulin kicks off the sprint
Crocket tries to surprise Mohs, but Dumoulin is so strong, he's giving Mohs an armchair ride to back to back victorys here.
Mohs makes his move
And cruises to victory.
Haussler does well to come through for second ahead of Vantomme, with Drujon doing slightly better for 4th, although still not really worth the effort put in. Hushovd is fifth
