This month was outstanding for stories. I couldn't narrow my list down from the 10 stories I feel deserved to be nominationed so I keep them all.
As a result the summaries had to be sacrificed, but I tried to make up for it
with a picture and caption to snapshot what happened this month in the story.
If that's not enough for you, you could of course always just click the
hyperlinks and catch up on some great PCM reading for yourself.
Like always I present the nominations in alphabetical order...

I should've named my story as "A Trek Factory Racing", just to get a top position on this nominees list...
On a more serious note, alot of great stories are around the site at the moment. It would be pleasure to finish up in Top 3.

I think the participation went down a little from month to mont? Or at least, that's what I assume from the number of votes for the winner stories. Hopefully it'll be this time different.
Now I don't know about the "votig behaviour" of the people here, but I think a possible explanation is that people don't vote when they are nominated? I don't think it's good to withhold your vote in such a case. If everybody who has a story going, thinks like that, then I don't think that this award will have much of a future. Uhm... yeah, just wanted to say that #YeahDemocracy!
About this month: Great selection of stories. NSOTM is rather obvious, but SOTM should be a close fight.

How on earth is my story up there
It's had about 4 updates
Welllllll, the new story should be pretty one sided. |

Percentage wise pretty certain Karl is the most one sided story for comment. 90% Me, 9% Sutty/Jakstar, 1% Other
SotM
10 absolutely deserving nominations. This month has just been about stories getting into the day-to-day routine. Consistent racing and updates. Nothing overtly exceptional happening, just every story maintaining its high quality. It's great to see that there are 10 stories that can achieve the quite difficult task.
Any of them are deserving winners this month, which is great to see. It's been a few months since we had a truly open competition and i hope the voting can reflect that and give us a close run result
NSotM
Yeah... I don't think there's been a more one-sided competition since March SotM ()... Already covered the congrats in the story to save time
Karl
Nominated just a i finish Act 7: Growing Up. Back to racing after 2 1/2 years and a hell of a lot of action. I say it every month (because no-one seems to listen ) but there really is not a better time to read this story now! Plus the usual back-to-back-to-back-to-etc. nomination record continues for both the story and myself

Happy to be nominated again but as TMM says ''10 absolutely deserving nominations'', so it is going to be a close one this Month |

You are way too harsh about yourself with Karl. I think you have a different audience, but just as dedicated a one. I know, that you yourself are not a fan of 'well done', 'good one' 'liking the update' sort of thing, and people don't post that.
EG: I have read every episode of Karl from the start, amd loved every one, (except 2 ) but i don't comment tonnes, just when i feel theres a point to make.
Also, NSotM, I feel like everyone else is just there to make Ian look good
Also, Shonak, thats me, maybe Ill vote SotM (for Karl probably (again ) ) but I don't think all the votes in the world would change the new story |
