For those of you who do not know what the Post Cup is, which I’m guessing is every non-Dane and maybe even some Danes, it is a series of 5 races spread out over a season with a joint point system, so the rider with the most points after all 5 races is the winner. (This system isn’t in the game though, so here it is just 5 separate races) Each race is typically organized into two circuits (a long and a short) and the course is then made up of first X times the Long Circuit followed by X times the short Circuit.

Manhattan - Manhattan (198km)


With start and finish on 5th Ave. by Central Park, almost in front of the Guggenheim, the riders will go 4 times in a 50km circuit that will take them from Manhattan to New Jersey and back again, via. famous places such as Broadway, JFK Blvd., The George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel.

This is essentially just the 1. stage of the 2012 Vuelta, but with an attempt at adding the Plaza de Toros to the stage as well.

My favorite element in this race is definitely the Palm Jumeira, purely for aesthetic reasons, even though it may not be as much fun to play. Here is a view of the Palm from above.


And a closer look at the boulevard that will be the Champs Elysées of the race.

There are several other elements in this stage as well, which may not be so easy to see during the race, but a keen eye and a little knowledge about Dubai might make it possible to recognize those elements as well.

This race was the first custom terrain race I made and was focused on the in game experience. The Idea was to make a GT for the ultimate all-rounder.

This race was a bit more fun for me, because I wanted to try and overcome some of the annoying obstacles that I’ve met so often while making stages. I was also curious as to try out some things just for fun, to see if and how it would work in the game.

The �Miller’s Motor Park� is inspired by the classic 8 shaped race track.


Lindenburgh - Roselyn Blvd. (190km)


This race also has its own version of a Champs Elysées, which will be the finish of today’s stage.

Seeing as I normally only post on the Danish site PCMFreaks I thought it would be fun to have a tribute to the site and its users in the race, as a kind of Hollywood sign (even though it didn’t turn out as well as planned, because it is mostly invisible during the game, so you probably won’t notice it.)

One of the things I didn’t think was possible was making a tunnel under water and I actually thought I did something new when I made it, but then somebody pointed it out to me that it was actually already in the game. (Just goes to show that I don’t really play the game that much)


It really annoys me that you can’t make bridges for 3 and 4 lane roads so I made this alternative.

The double tunnel under the 4 lane high way isn’t really that special, but I just really like the result of the double tunnel.


Lindenburgh Circuit (106km)


I wanted to make something similar to a traditional Nascar Circuit, but they are too small so I doubled the distance and made the Lindenburgh Circuit.
