I was just wonderin what rider everyone wants to win this years tour. I myself would like to see Contador or Sastre (or Gerraint Thomas ). Contador mainly because of the way he attacks and his mentality.
Who will everyone else be rooting for? |

Alberto Contador for me as well. He has got awesome acceleration and if he doesn't win
this year he will certainly win in the future! |

For some reason Rasmussen. I just like him as a rider - aggression in the mountains!!!

Even though he is on my fantasy manager team, Im going to be in the ABK club, - Anyone But Klöden!
I hope its an agressive rider, someone who attacks in the mountains.
And being danish I of course hope for Rasmussen!

Contador - the acceleration he has on a climb ... wow!
Do like the spirit of Cadel Evans also, though a little too defensive.

Yer i have to say Contador's acceleration was amazing. Came out of nowhere. If he can do that at a mountain top finish he will get a lot of time.
I also like Evans, he seems to like what he does and is a fighter.
If Valverde wins i will be really annoyed, he will do anything to steal bonus seconds from the riders who drag him up the mountain and always talks about himself and how HE did. |

Cadel Evans.
From the start Ive been hoping for Schleck or the Aussies. Rogers crashed out, Schleck was not so good yesterday, so come on Cadel!

Cadel Evans!
he's got the climbing and time trialling to do it and seems to be in very good form. the reason he hasn't attcked much until this year? this is only his third tour, he's been learning 'til now, but he can do it. he's already had a couple of little digs and will attack properly in the Pyrenees i believe, he likes the steeper climbs.
I don't want Valv(Piti) to win it either for obvious reasons
Contador might still be too young, but he seems good.
Mayo will lose it soon enough i think
Other than that I wouldn't mind Rasmussen winning, but he'll need another big day in the mountains and he's only ever done one per tour so far.
Can't wait for the Pyrenees!! |

Yes I did and im glad that he did some attacks but I want to see him do that in the next stages as well, if he does that than he has my support but accept for those few attacks yesterday he hasn't done much more than wheelsucking (which does take strenght of course but it's just a cowardish way of riding)

Being Danish, I hope for Rasmussen, but realistically, he has no chance of winning. Maybe podium, but that's it. So, else than Rasmussen, I hope for the CSC-riders, Schleck and Sastre, but they don't seem to be strong enough. |
