Excellent work from the guys today, especially Fabio SILVESTRE. That is exactly what we signed him for; even if OVSYANNIKOV couldn't finish things off. Be interesting to know who the first man in the train was, maybe Rasmus PEDERSEN?
Congratulations to Ulrich though. HALLER has been on fire since confirming himself as the King of America. It would be a real shame to see that race not carrying on as a true GT, when it can produce stories like his.

Okay race so far. I'm enjoying Eriksson gaining a few points on the polkadot jersey.
Maybe this is a race for Kaczmarek? |

not much happening on the prologue for us. Hayakawa showing up in his off-form on stage 2. Hopefully we start competing soon.
Congrats on the wins, UU and quadsas

Nice to see Voissard being active in the break and picking up a good haul of KOM points.

Not much so far for us, which is a good thing. Tenorio just needs to hang on until the TT.
Good to see our neo pro in the break, hopefully a demonstration of what he can do in the future. Congrats on the win Marco, Kalaba having a terrific season.
Thanks for the report!

Happy that both Vangstad and Kaczmarek didnt loose any time on the GC at this stage, hopefully they can be right up there by the time we reach the 2nd TT-stage.
Great report, thank you very much Imladrik! |

Good enough for us here. Still not a points race, but as long as Giannoutsos survives in the front group there is a chance of a decent result. He was worryingly far back though.
Great to see Kalaba adding to his succes here!

No progress on stage 3. Hopefully stage 4 is more selective and Olivier has one last push on these hilly stages.
Congrats to Marco and thanks for the report!

Thanks to Imladrik for the reports and congrats to all the stage winners so far. It's been a pretty anonymous race for us so far, but with Ranaweera still among the better placed GC riders and the TT ability hopefully coming into play in the MTT it's still all well within the plan.

Not ideal to see ISA keeping on scoring more points than us in every single stage. No gaps at all, except from at the very end, seems a bit dodgy to me. Could be OK if the mountain TT is very close between the favorites, but could also end in total disaster!
Giannoutsos is all we got now after Spanopoulos (of all people) decided to just sit up and end up at the worst rider in the entire peloton. I guess we shouldn't have had Vila here, as it seems like the others are wasting themselves for him. Spanopoulos would have ben our 2nd best GC bet - and on paper EASILY our best rider today. So to see him flop as the worst rider of all here is a bit weird tbh!
I must admit that I would have liked to see riders like Cattaneo and Misbah drop a couple of seconds in one of those hilly stages, as they should be better than Giannoutsos now. Also Kwiatek winning the stage probably makes him a favorite ahead of Giannoutsos too. Gaining 13 seconds here on him could be difficult.
I guess it will be all about daily form now. Giannoutsos could end up anywhere between 3rd and 15th in the GC now.

Possible, though I can't be sure.

Seems like I forgot to mention it in the report, though I had it in my notes. Spanopoulos punctured, probably in the 4th climb, and was never able to come back, though he was close before running out of strength.

Decent stage results from us so far. El Sabbahi performing well up until this point but doubt he will survive the MTT. Reis still very much in contention to get a good GC result here.

Cattaneo has survived the difficult part for him, so we're all set for a good GC result. Even Kalaba manages to extend his reign and sprint to a top ten. Looking forward to what the final two stages will bring

Get in Rafael! Knock on wood nothing happens in the next stage, but the GC win is great work! Very important points for us in the promotion race. Thanks for the report!

Pretty satisfied with this outcome. I would have expected closer gaps between the front guys, but it was mainly down to the MO/TT combination entirely, which is fair.
The seconds gained on Olivier in the prologue was enough to keep him behind in the GC, but other than that it was mainly the regular GC spots.
Too bad to see Spanopoulos mess up on the last stage, as he would have been 24th in the GC otherwise, picking up 12 points (He is 22 points behind our pre-season estimate), aswell as gaining some points from the Team GC.
That aside it looks great for us here, almost checking in 150 points, baring any disaster in the final stage, which obviously can't be taken for granted!
In case we slot in those near-150-pointer here the title should be very close as we also outscore ISA by more than we have lost in the other races.
