6 guys in front with 11 km to go. Granigan launched the sprint train, and Page still present under the red kite. Yet, Zariff is not even in the top 10...

5th is good and equal 1st in the green jersey. That will come down to the final stage. Gibbons had a great win! Congrats!
Tomorrow is Marryatts day!! Hopefully that goes well!

Gibbo you beauty, in his 2nd to last chance of the year he finally timed the sprint right! His TT isn't good enough to challenge for the GC, but if he can deliver again on the last stage, the points jersey is a real possibility.

Stocker did what he could to keep us on par with Spark and Würth. While he has 69 TT, it will not be enough for him to keep a top 10 position. If everything aligns perfectly on the last stage, he may be within a shot for the Points Classification
This is it - tomorrow will be the moment of truth. Carlos Verona is our best bet right now for good GC placement. I also have Barta, but he is with 73 TT which may not be enough for good placement. If Verona falters, I need to rely on KHJ perform well in Britain and for good Zuri showing if I want to finish 7th at bare minimum.

Pleased the sprinters decided to share all the time bonuses through the first three stages, gives Viennet a great chance to win the race in what is likely his last chance in his career to wear a yellow jersey.

We we're really here for the sprint stages, but I agree that we're happy to see the bonus seconds spread amongst the group. Hoping our TT crew is on great form and we can pack the top 25 with at least 2 in the Top 10. Great reports so far.

Consistent sprinting from Kennett but not enough bonus seconds.
O'Loughlin hasn't been the breakthrough rider i hoped this year but tomorrow is his big chance !

Hmmm, 5th and 11th is fine. 5th is definitely good, and 11th is okay. 10th and 11th GC isnt perfect, i hope there may be a few spots they can climb.
Overall i am happy with the rest of the team did also. SO lets hope they finish in style and can gain a few spots for the final GC.
Thanks for the report!

We tried our best, but I fear it was not enough. Now everything is in KHJ's hands in Tour of Britain.
Thanks for the report

Dennis and Kiflay performed as expected. Hoping for a miracle in the last stage, or perhaps just some breakaway action, if the team finally realized that we aren't favorites

A top 10 and in 8th on GC. Same time as people up to 5th so potentially there is movement for Marryatt if he finishes high enough. Now back to Scott and hopefully he can take out the points jersey with a good last stage finish!
Congrats MRE again (really sick of congratulating you mate ). This season has been unreal for you and you can’t seem to lose ever! Thanks for the reports!

One second for either Nyoni or Cardona would have been huge today, but still great races from them. Oka now needs to pull a surprise and win the sprint tomorrow to take bonus seconds to make it a special race. Nothing too big expect for sure, but would be very cool to come away with close to 100 points here and get to the 1000 point marker but I think it'll come 20-30 short which is understandable.
Great races of course from MRE - what an unbelievable team and huge congratulations on the awesome year.

And our SEE Turtles have completed our season! A strong result - especially for Nyoni and Cardona to stay toward the front of the pack to keep their tied positions high in this final stage. A very strong trip here to Herald Sun and the Turtles are heading into the offseason with good morale.

The promotion battle tightens after Herland Sun Tour
NOTE: These are only provisional rankings
After the conclusion of Herald Sun Tour, the battle for the 5th and final promotion berth has intensified. Duvel-Tsingtao has entered the race in 5th place with 1214 points and 99 point gap to the 6th place, but the best this team could muster were four Top 8 stage finishes from Jingbiao Zhao and overall 9 ranking points and 1.8 PpRD.
That sees their lead to the 6th place slashed to 38 points. In 6th is the Team Würth MODYF team, who had a tremendous race with a stage win from Willwohl and 2nd in points standings on top of Campenaerts and Predatsch finishing in Top 15 in the GC. Willwohl also finished with 9 ranking points in Paris Tours which enabled the team to slash their gap to Genii Hyundai N Cycling to just 4 points before HST and with 74 points from that race, they have 29 point lead
Speaking of Genii Hyundai N Cycling - Carlos Verona was their best bet for this race and he ended up in 10th, sandwiched between Campenaerts and Predatsch. Not the result the team was hoping for, but they still have 5 more RD to spend (all teams mentioned here will take part in Zuri Metzgete), meaning that they will do a huge gamble at Tour of Britain, where KHJ will be their last hope for ranking points before the decider in Switzerland. Team Würth MODYF has additional 2 RD and they've decided to use them on the HC-classified Giro dell'Emilia according to sources.
Herald Sun Tour was the last race for Spark Team NZ before Zuri and they hoped for better result. Despite Marryatt being classified 8th in GC, the team has lost ground on not only Würth, but Genii with the gap to the 7th place now 45 points. And if Genii do score huge in Britain, the gap may become impossible to be reduced at Zuri unless something strange happens.
Despite the rules stipulate that there are 5 promotion berths, this actually is not true this season. The MGUCI has confirmed that the licenses of 2 teams in PT/PCT will not be renewed next season, meaning that 2 berths will open up. This will enable the teams in 6th and 7th (that provisionallt being Team Würth MODYF and Genii Hyundai N Cycling) will get the vacant spots, meaning that the 8th placed team (Spark Team NZ) will miss out...or will they? There are rumours that an additional berth may open up as one of the unconfiremed PCT teams has not given an answer if the team will continue. But that's yet to be announced by the MGUCI board.
Furthermore, the IESN team want to congratulate Newton Foundation p/b Zwift for the GC win as well as our colleague AbhishekLFC for providing coverage during the race.

A win again for Newton, so the ordinary result this season Congrats to this.
For us its a good result too though I hoped it would have been 2-3 places higher but we can live with this. Congrats to all who have done a ncie job here.
One thing i dont understand actually. Why is Campenaerts placed behind the others in the GC with the same time when he was ahead of them in the ITT? I really just dont understand why, so please enlighten me
Thanks for the reports!

Just like Jackstar I’m getting a bit tired of MRE/Newton winning it all, but congrats to him and all the stage winners, nevertheless.
It was never a good race for us, but Zariff did save his honor with a 4th place (3rd best of the bunch) on the final stage, and we also got some depth points from Kiflay and Dennis.
Thanks for the reports, and the lovely write-up regarding the promotion race from ivaneurope as well

MRE built a great well rounded squad! Crazy! Congrats.
I am a big annoyed that Scott couldn’t sprint better in the last day when he’s been so consistent the entire race. Throws away the green jersey as well or at least a high finish. Marryatt did well and I’m happy with how he went although a top 5 was so close to his grasp if he managed just slightly quicker!
Only Zuri left for us but it is looking more and more like we will be 8th and miss out on promotion. Although we won’t give up until the end!
Thanks for the reports and the promotion update as well!

Gahhh! Some top 8 finishes and just sneaking into the points is not a terrible result for Zhao on the face of it, but he was in some great positions and just seemed to run out of stamina in a couple of spots. That would have turned this bit of poor planning into an acceptable result, but now (and thanks to Ivan for the update), this is going to be tight going into the final few races!
Congrats to MRE, thanks for the reports!
