Finally something from Gidich in stage 4. I hope he can carry that into the last stages. |

Wow, what a win by Gesbert! Perfect execution of his counter-attack to bridge across to the lead group and an impressive punch towards the line Really great race for him so far. Hope he can keep it up!

Thanks for the reports, jt, and congratulations to the stage winners! Our team is mostly anonymous here (two mentions in four stages ...), let's hope someone still does something special in the last two stages.

What the fuck Puma? There's one team I didn't think would bend the knee to Evonik and do their job for them...
I thought it'd be a pefect stage for Madouas, and apparently they thought the same. Turns out Assa, King Power and Evonik probably are the ones who benefitted most from that move, while Madouas was far too passive...
And obviously McCormick also had a good day (despite missing out on the stage podium), great to see Yates being attentive and potentially going for a big GC result!

Nice work by Yates, he overcame Puma's mysterious hunting to get into the winning move. I would be pretty happy with 5th in the GC, so since we couldn't end it after Stage 1, for Gus, lets call it a race now.
Thanks for the reports.

Just checking and yes yes that is on the front today and not taking up Lopez pacing duties today they hold the gap steady at 4"15 for most of the stage.
Of course, we had to set up a sprint finish for our lead sprinter Felix Gross!

Formolo dropping out of the top 10 in the GC in the flat stage is so wild. He really needs to step up in the final stage now.

Credible effort from Hayakawa there, but it's yet we lose ground to Tafjord. One more to go.

Mixed feelings about the race.
Good depth (though Tolhoek blew up his GC with that breakaway), but disappointed with Formolo's result. Happy with Champoussin here though for a moment there it looked like he could challenge for the top 10 as well.
Happy with the team rankings. Not something we win often these days.
Thanks for the reports!

The MAL vs Areruya battle got hijacked by the top climbers

Pretty strong race for us. But also one that shows how volatile these races can be with the top placed riders collectively having a bit of an offday on stage 6.
This puts us into a pretty solid position for that final podium spot at the end of the season

At least we got a few points from Ackermanns 2nd place sprint. The other results are not mention worthy

Bringing them climbers surely did the trick! Well played!
And a big congrats on the win for MAL, although it sucks to see Areruya paying the ultimate prize towards the end here.
HUGE result for McCormick who are making big big leaps these days with also the Tour of America coming to an end soon.

Should have brough Barguil instead of Meurisse here sadly, but that's life.
Thanks for the reports! Congrats to knockout on a great race!

Congrats knockout! And also to UU and roturn. Very good final stage and GC for them.
That Areruya positioning was horrible btw.
Curious what the top part of the rankings looks like after this race.

It took him a bit to work out the best strategy but Marc came good on the final stage to jump up the GC, gives me confidence that he'll be someone we can rely on against the PT teams for many seasons to come.
