Argh! Please remind me of not editing and swapping riders after having posted them! Zambanini out for Vendrame as a last change was unfortunate, especially as no one else had him, making it be a 90 points miss Shock

This should be a lot of fun moving forward, as I can imagine most of us having difficult choices to make, and then the one we almost selected go big points. Except for knockout, obviously! Grin Pfft

Pedersen wins his third stage of the Giro, but for the first time not everyone in his team had him. Abhishek, kandesbunzler and Ollfardh thought today would be too hard for the Dane, but he proves them wrong, netting the other seven managers 14 points each. If somebody would have selected Zambanini, who finished second today and also finished top-10 in a previous stage, that would have given them ninety points. That would have been a new high, but alas.

Pidcock and Aular were selected by the majority of managers, seven and six per rider respectively. Both of them score eleven points per manager today. Then comes a new high, with fifth place Fiorelli only being selected by ember. Sixty points for one rider, that's a first, and also the reason ember wins two stages in a row, congratulations!

Storer gave Abhishek some nice MG memories and Avenir victories before, and also gives him 25 points in this game now. Both Abhi and Nemo share the points there. Nobody selected Pacher, but Rivera did get one mention, thirty points to Laurens for that, two good stages in a row for him as well now. Del Toro in tenth gives two points to four managers, including Ollfardh, who predicted a more selective stage and scores a new low-score today. With the Giro only becoming less predictable from the coming stages (not counting tomorrow), this will definitely not be a one time thing in the game.

Onto the new rankings.

Ember takes over pink from alexkr with two great stages in a row, but alex clearly the number two still. Laurens went from relegation danger to the podium in those two stages as well, showing how quickly everything can change. Kandesbunzler not with the best stage, he drops to fourth ahead of seancoll.

Knockout did select the winner but nobody else, so he drops to sixth for now, with Ulrich holding on to seventh place for now. Abhishek and myself gain one place, with Ollfardh currently the red lantern. Everything still close together anyway as expected, with big points more and more likely as the mountain stages and breakaway possibilities get bigger. Good luck tomorrow!

As always, spot a mistake, tell me Smile

Aha, I thought I had seen someone post him, and was going crazy when I didn't find him anymore for the rankings post Grin

Obviously your post was edited way on time and I saw that, but just in general about edits for everyone, if you post 2/3 stages at once, and later want to edit one of the last stages (with the first you posted already raced/in progress), just make a new post. Had thought about this earlier, so thought now was a good time to mention it Smile

I believe everyone, apart from predicting the race winner correctly, also had at least two out of three podium finishers, scoring 20/31 of those points per manager. Apart from that also seven people predicting Zijlaard and Kanter, netting ten and seven points each, and eight people with Kooij, scoring one each.

Looking at the winners of todays stage, first of all the two people who predicted Mozzato and scorer 15p each, seancoll and Ollfardh, but then most of all, not for the first time, alexkr00! For the second time in the game he was the only one having faith in Lonardi, and the Italian paid him back with a fifth place and sixty points! Congratulations!

Is it enough to take over the pink jersey from ember again?

No, but it's very close. Only three points between ember and alexkr00 at this point, also the difference between red lantern Ollfardh and myself. Ollfardh and I did use today to gain some points on most of the guys ahead of us actually, so in general the playing field is a bit closer again now.

Also barely any people moving spots in the ranking, as the only change is between seancoll and kandesbunzler26, switching fourth and fifth.

As always, spot something wrong, tell me Smile

Fun and possibly very hard to predict stage tomorrow, good luck!
