Rodriguez so close to winning his first stage! Great stage for him. 2nd place and moved back to 2nd in the youth rankings. Davila stays in 8th place on the GC and Rodriguez improves a little bit as well.
Congrats to the winner and thanks for an excellent report!

Well nice to see Sosa looking stronger again, and an 8 second gain on Elosegui is good for the morale. Hopefully MRE is right and a day off chasing will have helped the team, including Haller, recover for tomorrow (noticeable that Quinn lost his young rider place on the first day Newton had the yellow jersey) Unfortunately (but not surprisingly) we have drawn two of the strongest recovery riders in the peloton in Wouters and Elosegui so I fear Green is likely following Yellow off our backs.
Looking forward to final decisive stages after tomorrow. My guess is Elosegui and his inhuman recovery grinds it out against the rest but maybe Sosa cand find somewhere to make his punchiness count and get a gap, or Quintana leverages the Min 1-2 to ambush the others or maybe the sleeping Giannoutsos rises from his slumber.
Congrats to Imladrik on another great Lafay ride, he is delivering as hoped.

7th is more points for Mudgway but I was hoping to get a higher finish. I think wasted a lot of energy at the start going for the sprint point even though Mudgway is quite far behind in that classification. Still, more points to add on to our total even if it is minor points. Good day!
Congrats to the winner and great report!

Wouters with a great race so far, always good to see a fellow (partly) latin American team do well! That said, Sosa's bad stage was a pain to see. Hopefully he can make up for it on the coming stages. Nevertheless also nice to see Elosegui do well here, really showing his GT potential so far.
Lafay doing great for Euskotren to make this a race to remember, and from a talent pov it was also great to see Rodriguez in second during the most recent Lafay stage win

Again some Enzo magic Great stuff from him so far. Would be awesome to snatch the points classification. Now all eyes again on Min and Quintana.
Thanks KB for the great reports!

Good stage from the team here. Both Giannoutsos and Mavrikakis.
Let’s hope this kicks off a better end than the first 14 days.
Misbah could be a dangerous guy towards the end.

Growing the gap is always good, but this is far from over. It's about to get pretty intense and I hope we have enough support around Elosegui to make it happen and he doesn't crumble under the pressure. Would be a monumental win for him and a stepping stone to go after the other three GTs in the near future (hopefully).

We lose a place on GC which is a bit hard to take but we are in striking distance of 7th and potentially 6th if there are big gaps in the mountain stages and the flat ITT to come which suits Davila more then some of the other GC riders. Rodriguez still 2nd in U25 so that’s good!
Congrats to the winner and thanks for the report.

The stage win wasn't expected but knew Misbah would do well.
Hopefully he doesn't lose much time in the remaining mountain stages as he should be able to recover more time in the TT on stage 20 and with how close the top 5 is currently I think he could finish in any spot inside it.

Nice win by Misbah, congrats to Sammy
And as he just said, it makes the situation even more interesting now, with these small gaps. However, the two biggest mountain stages are yet to come, and in particular tomorrow is just a monster, almost 250k... Would be surprised to see Elosegui lose the GC now with his great energy stats - but if anyone makes the right move, a minute is quickly gone... In particular Lotto could achieve a huge result if they play it smart! Looking forward

A little scary how much time Sosa lost in an MTT. I was hoping his recovery would protect him (except against Elosegui) in the final ITT but not sure about that now. With the time gaps now I could easily see him dropping to 5th based on just the final ITT. So we need to gain ground on some of the others tomorrow. Of course last time I posted that he suffered a complete collapse.
Nice ride by Cabrera to take 8th, shows how much of a factor TT skill plays.
Haller losing green as expected. Will take some luck to get it back now. Still a great race from him.
Congrats to Sammy on the win. Thanks to KB for all the reports.

Oh come on Giannoutsos, take that stagewin already… It will be somewhat of a bummer to ride the entire race without him taking a stagewin.
Atleast the depth seemed about right, aswell as Misbah losing enough time for Giannoutsos to probably be able to keep him behind. Elosegui took the GC today is my best bet. He will take further time in the TT, and should defend Well this late in the race.

I was fearing we were about to lose a lot more time when I saw the top 5 riding away without Misbah, but it looks like he measured his effort better and actually put a little extra time into Quintana.
Gives me hope that we'll get at least a top 4 out of this now but it remains to be seen how much time we can gain in the TT. It will be tough to steal a podium spot but it's not impossible.

Yeah agree it is Elosegui's to lose now, this was the stage that looked most likely to cause him issues vs Sosa with the steeper climbs but he obviously handled it very well. Congrats to MRE on a nice win. Apologies to the break but was glad to see the big guns fight it out for the stage win.
Good news is we got more breathing room vs Quintana and Misbah, bad news is Giannoutsos is now very close on 2nd and definitely within range in the TT.

Davila riding well! He should be able to maybe move up a position in GC. Hoping the rest of the boys can continue to move up themselves.
Congrats to MRE (getting sign of saying that this year ) for another win! And thanks for the excellent report

What a first win for the team for Elosegui to get one step closer to winning The People's Grand Tour. Three more stages until glory for him and our team to cap a historic season. We have always had good rides at the Tour of America but this is shaping up to be the best one yet.
Elosegui wins our 12th stage here in six editions, and is not only looking to win the event for the first time in team history but can also become our fifth podium finisher here. Quite remarkable. Bring it home Inigo!

The podium seems to be out of reach now. But it was definitely a good fight from our guys. A deserved podium with maybe some position switches coming up?
Congrats MRE with the win and thanks KB for the reports!

Breakaway glad I had Huera up there so a podium spot which is great! But Mudgway won the sprint in the peloton so could have been a win for Mudgway. Still great points and a good stage for us on the last flat day of the ToA!
Congrats to the winner and thanks for the report!

Been very fun to watch the whole time - really just want to give KB a huge shoutout for how awesome these reports have been all ToA. Very excited to see this race come to its spectacular conclusion.
