Misbah already in the top 10 on GC is a surprise, he does know he's here for the GC and not the sprints right? don't want him peaking too early

Another solid stage. Haller picking up bonus seconds to make sure he keeps the gc lead. And Sosa with a decent finish. The longer finishing climbs later in the week are where he needs to put the hammer down and gain time on all the diesels.

Great to see Lotto take a stage win here. Although it's a shame to see Houle be the runner up for the second time in a row. Guess the yellow jersey is an OK consolidation prize. Lovely to see Crowley's KoM-run

Darbinyan does what he can, 4th on the first stage is already a nice result for him.
And of course, great win by Lafay. Those are well needed points. I was worried seeing him so wrongly placed, but he played it very well.
Another interesting day for him tommorow I think, hoping that the finish isn't too hard/mountainous. Sosa should win this, but if we can be 2nd that would be very well.
And after that, it'll be time for breaks I suppose.
Thanks for the reports!

Hugo!!!!!! This man just can't help but tug at my heart a rider I bought in my first year of MG as a Lvl2 rider who won on the Champs Elysees for Quick Step many moons ago had multiple Top 10s in San Remo and I trained I think every single year I had him maxed and now in what's likely his last season racing he's produced this out first yellow jersey holder back in the MG nearly out best race of the season already after 3 stages and great ride on back to back days what a rider just a shame I couldnt see through his journey to San Remo glory back in the day due to RL commitments but glad to be back to see off his career now if Boily takes a stage win that could be the RBC fairytale sendoff |

Really happy with Mudgway and 3rd. He looked good that whole sprint! I get the feeling he has more to offer though and potential of a win is certainly there! But really glad to be getting some early points from him!
Congrats to the winner and thanks for the great report!

Another decent sprint from Edmondson. Not something crazy, but small points. Also the first point of the season to Varotsos for being 2nd in the U25 :-)

Glad Haller got that win on day one because that kind of fade is what I feared. Pretty sure that was our first time in the ToA leader's jersey, so first three days have to be counted a success.
Would think Houle has a good chance to hold tomorrow and add points jersey. Congrats to jt and Lauren's on the win.
For us it is Sosa time. Tomorrow maybe but Green Mountain on Stage 5 might be the perfect stage for him.

Not sure this was a good stage despite Soulious’ great result, and Varotsos claiming more points (2).
Sosa really putting the Hammer Down, and making it difficult for Giannoutsos. But even worse is the weird 1,30” unnecessary time loss for Mavrikakis who should fight for a top 10 himself. I guess he won’t be doing that.
All that said, we keep accumulating points each day, which can’t be lost. That is great!

Go Crowley! That's exactly the type of rider I want him to be...
GC wise my guys seem to have given up already !

Nicely done, thought he may have gone too early but he was plenty good enough. If I need to find a dark cloud in doubling our TOA stage win count in the first four days it is that Elosegui, who is a guy we really need time on before the final TT, was strong.
Also Kuss joining Mavrikakis in losing silly time. They must want to remove any doubts about who is the team leader.

Solid start from Min. I'm curious how AI will handle the Min-Quintana combination for the remainder of the race
Thanks KB for the reports!

Cool start to the race, I must say! Brilliant to see Haller grab a win with all his history, and then to see Sosa make use of the early hills. Though, amazing attack and great timing by Fabbro, didn't see that one coming. Sosa with a small gap down to his competitors, but this is all very, very tight before the TTT. Stage 7 and 11 look to be the first GC stages, assuming stage 8 is for a breakaway. |

Well, can't complain about the Glanbia participation in breaks !
Fingers crossed Sosa can go on and wipe away my guilt for denying McCormick last year !

Sosa doing great for Mccormick so far, congratulations Ulrich. Also new Zealand with a nice stage win here. Attacking was rewarded so that's good to see.
Talent wise it's great to see Crowley going strong so far and keeping the polka dots! And also nice to see one of last year's biggest talents in Varotsos be in white for a day earlier
