Thanks for the preview and the reports! Sorry to not have commented earlier, as I was on hollidays.
Underwhelming race for us. As stated in the preview, none of our puncheurs is strong enough in this field, that was excpected. I hoped the earlier time loss would allow us into the break, but that's not the case. Or we don't try, I don't know. In any case, poor showing in one of our home races.
Maybe Doubey can climb a bit up the rankings so that it's not a 0 pointer for us.

What a performance from Wouters Can't wait for the final stage to be honest.
Congrats WJ for the stage victory!

Nothing from this race so far. Seems like a bad decision to bring Benoot here unless the last stage can be really selective.
Congrats to WJ and thanks for the report!

Two riders in the top ten. Goal is to keep them both in on the final stage but the focus will be on Kino I guess

Hirschi looked so strong there and 2nd place is still really good even if he looked the strongest rider on the day, hopefully he can find a similar performance on the final stage.
Congrats to Meurisse on the stage win and Wouters for retaining the leaders jersey.

in hindsight this has been a poor managerial decision, but Stannard was as aggressive as I could have hoped. Still, 9th in GC gives us some chances for tomorrow. Let's see.
Great win for Specialized, congrats wj!

Well this hasn't turned into a total disaster yet. But we are always right at the back of the groups so fear that the last stage is the most selective and we will get killed. Also clearly Narvaez treated like the leader so what was he doing at the back of the peloton on S1?
Nice ride by Meurisse, think he won a stage here last year as well. Wotuers also doing very well, harder for him to hang on tomorrow I think.

Bit of a shocker on stage one made up for slightly by Vendrame getting in the polka dot jersey. Shame he couldn't defend it, but maybe he has another breakaway in him. Otherwise would be nice to see Bystrom try something on the last stage, he should be flying under the radar a bit so an early attack could be the move.

Congrats wj on the Meurisse-triple! He's a rider who constantly punches above his weight and you have to love him for that (despite being beaten by him).
Oliveira with his worst stage result in the last stage, resulting in falling back to 8th. But it's still a good GC result for him and with some stage points etc. added it's a good race from him.
And finally thanks to cunego for the great reports, despite demoting us back to CT!

Congrats WJ with the stage win and GC, a deserved winner
Wouters hanging on to 2nd brings us an amazing points haul. I feel a bit sorry for other managers like UU, Abhi and co. But it surely gives some breathing space in our relegation battle.
Thanks cunego for the great reports!

Crazy how 4 C1 RDs can turn around seasons! Meurisse with his best season for us already now with the 160 points or so that he grabs based on those last two stages!
Thanks for the great reports!

Vliegen pisses incompetence on a daily basis. Loses 10 minutes across two stages along with the entire team on the only terrain hes capable at.
Congrats to WJ and thanks for the reports.

Good final stage for Kinoshita, will definitely take fifth and tenth in the GC. Thanks for the reports cunego and congrats whitejersey!

Well that wasn't a success not sure how much of a failure it was. How much 1/5th of a 5 way tie for the teams lead is worth? Narvaez throws away his GC on stage 1 and Hecht on stage 4 but the truth is none of our riders were good enough to compete at the finishes so we can't complain too much. Podium Ambition have much more basis.
I thought this race was a nice balance last year but rode even less selective this year I think. Hopefully it will be a little more selective in PCM24.
Thanks to Cunego for the reports.

Surprised at how unselective the last two stages were. Can’t be upset with the result though, 6th GC is decent enough for Bagioli considering the first three stages were very uneventful for him and I thought the entire race might be a bust for us. He was very strong on the final stage and could have finished much higher with a stage win, but not to be. Taking home the u25 again is also a lovely little bonus.
Congrats WJ on the win, and thanks for the lovely reports Cunego

Nothing race for us. Some points to keep the scoreboard ticking, but it was a mistake to come to this race in terms of planning.
Congrats to WJ and thanks for the reports cunego
