Congrats Laurens! Liu making amends after having to sit last season out is good to see.
Nur Hasan looked like he was flying at the end, but again is just plain awful at picking a wheel and positioning himself well. Cmon man.
Thanks for the report!

Seems like Laurens also read the road book pretty good
Concerning Farantakis I have some 2021 manninen pct flashbacks, as he was always 15th in every sprinter c1/hc stage race. He was sublime in pct classics and pthc stage races though, so hope farantakis can do that for sotd as well to make up for these kind of races.

Yeah it’s definately not working in these races that should suit him perfectly.

Maybe I've been too kind on Bonifazio recently. Fear clearly was the better motivation.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

How the heck did we have the GC 5th, A) allowed in the break, b) even trying to breakaway?! Complete waste of points!
Luckily we're not remotely close to survival so it really doesn't matter

Ugh. Sprinting races are just awful in this game version.
Thanks for the report and congrats Bjartne!

Man I'd love to see Boudat getting a top 3 in a stage to get bonus seconds. I think a GC podium is within reach here.

Cool to see Enger finally getting a win

Zariff barely in the points on S2, but I guess it's what we can expect. A bit envious on Carsi though, as they should be fairly equal IMO.
Congrats to the winners so far

Finally a little bit of reasonable sprinting from Farantakis. We still need one more of those to come away with a solid result though, as C1 doesn’t really give credit to depth.

Guess we'll be selling him next offseason. He actually has some results now to increase market value.

Fuck sake, what the hell is wrong with this man? He can’t position himself to save his life. Gets involved in every sprint but has no idea how to actually sprint. Jesus Sandy what the fuck
Good to the big sprinters doing well e Pugh.
Thanks for the report!

Missed a trick not sending Ctaaford here probably. Anyway, Kuli did well on stages 2 and 3, but it wasn't good on stage 4. Hopefully he can get another high placing in the last stage, otherwise this will be a poor race for us. Nice to see a couple of breakaway appearances, although it's not really much in this race.
Thanks for the reports so far!

Well atleast Farantakis didn’t make a complete ass of himself in the final two stages. Still he’s heavily underperforming. He have every chance to have an astounding season. He Will end up with an OK one from having it all served in a plate though.
Overall a good race however as the strategy really worked out brilliantly!
Thanks a lot for the reports :-)

We are very happy for Enger to seal the podium, however, we would have liked Coquard not to take both the stage win and the bonus seconds to pass him in GC as well
Ewan was unstoppable. Huge congrats to ISA - Hexacta!
Thank you Kandesbuzler also for 5 very good reports, I have really enjoyed this race! |
