Yes! Smith coming up big on the hill stage, now he just needs to combat all of his inner fighting spirit and just act like superglue / stick to Jorgenson until the very end of stage 4
After getting pipped into 2nd on several stages/races, really pleased to see Smith still has IT!
And Zhao doing relatively well in the first 2 stages is encouraging for the year ahead, but he'll have to start turning some of these near misses into victories sooner than later.
Thanks for the reports so far Ulrich, these are great to read!

Smith is looking so good again such a bargain signing by booker congrats,
We once again are all around the front but not really strong enough to be in contention for the win. It was good ride again by Zico though to add our 3rd top 10 of the race so no complaints |

Disappointing not to have put anyone stronger into any of the breaks other than Ronaldo on Stage 3. Hayter really did not like the hills on that stage but that was to be expected.
A more sedate Stage 4 for us. Shirota wrapping up a Top 15, with Hayter and Franco 2nd and 6th in the U25s respectively, is an ok outcome for us here.
Congrats to Mre and thanks for the reports Ulrich

Thanks for the reports and congrats to the guys from Newton and the others on the podium. Jorgenson clearly delivers great so far.
Hahahahaha, I can just laugh. What was that? What were my riders doing? We didnt have ny high ambitions here, sure. But it seems none of us was aware that this was a race. I am pretty sure this is the worst race we ever had in our short team history. $ stages of participating and even about that I am no sure. I need to highlight our best rider here, Van Bekkum finished as 100th! He did normal at least.
I guess they all just used this to keep the legs warm and get some regeneration?! I hope this will pay off for the next races then

Decent little finish in the end by the guys to have 3 in the top 20 GC wise and a few top 10's along the way so no crazy scoring but a little bit of scoring none the less. Jorgensen just looking silly strong already |

Just barely. But nice overall win for Jorgenson, played the race tactics perfectly once again. Awesome to see him living up to the pre-season hype. Very solid point haul for us here. Thanks for the reports!

Excellent stage win but that hurts a little coming 2nd on GC by 1 second. However it is good to see that Bennett can still deliver. Happy for Bennett to grab his second stage 1 and take 2nd in GC as these are very important points for us after a quiet month in February. Still wish it was 1 second better congrats MRE and Jorgensen. As he said, he definitely is living up to the hype. Bennett has started well we just need some backing scorers if possible. Davila doing his best but we need more. We also had podiums in most of the classifications so they may equat to some points which will be nice too!
Excellent reports and thankyou for those! Congrats to MRE again on the GC victory but this is definitely not over between us!

Another decent performance here, unnecessary time loss from Penasa on stage three but in the end it only cost him one spot on GC. Berhane popping up with a GC top 10 out of nowhere and grabbing the team classification is certainly a pleasant surprise. Combined with the two stage podiums not a bad outing at all, but we probably need to be doing better in these kind of races if we want to have a chance at a top ten ranking come October.

Finally a really good result from Carapaz. Even better because its our local race and we could present our sponsor colors well. Sadly Borisavljevic couldnt finish better but we need to be happy with what we got here.
Jorgenson and Newton Foundation too strong so far but hopefully we can battle a bit more for the wins in the future.
Thank you for the reports! |

Jorgenson is a menace this year! haha
We managed to sneak into the top 5 and take a decent amount of points. Nice.
Thank you for all the reports, amazing work - as allways

Congrats Mre! And thanks for the reports UU
Though disappointing to see Smith slip down to 5th, it’s not exactly surprising. He just can’t help himself on the attacks, so I was immediately thinking he’s thrown away the GC by following out of the peloton.
Ah well, still a very decent haul of points, can’t complain again and a good addition to the points built up already this year

Sorry for the lack of comments during the race, I wasn't (still aren't) home.
Thanks to some good stage results by Hofstetter (what if he had sprinted in the first stage) and Lafay, and a decent GC position given the lack of (T)TT, it's not a bad race. Not the best, but it's in a range of consistency which is good to net us close to the top 5 in the end, I think.
Thanks for the wonderful reports, congrats Mre on yet another victory!
