9th is okay, not great, for Aranburu's trained debut. Doesn't feel like a huge improvement for him, but to be fair there isn't anyone above him I can be mad about finishing ahead, and he beat some better pure puncheurs. We maybe had potential for a couple of more spots, but that's okay.
Depth wasn't too bad. When I saw we had four guys make that first split I got kind of excited, but it makes sense that they all fell off.
Congrats to cio and thanks for the report!

It’s not much happening here really apart from the not-so-spectacular draining of the domestiques and soaking of the favourites.
Don't usually comment on PT races but had to give a shout out to KB for the line above from the report.
Congrats to Puma and Cio.

Aranburu's 9th-place finish in his trained debut at Monkey Mart is decent but not remarkable. While it doesn't showcase significant improvement, he performed well against some stronger competitors, which is commendable. Although there was potential for better results, overall, it’s a satisfactory performance.

Silvio! Congratulations, cio. Kind of the expected podium, but I guess Evonik can also be happy with the depth score they got behind MAL.
For us, we were present in the breakaway. Couldn't hope for more, so we take it |

Well, Bobridge as leader in 2024 went about as good as expected.
Maybe even worse than I thought as not even top120 was likely 30-50 spots below expectations.
Anyway, guess as support he still has a bit of value and iirc this was the only leader role he has all year.
Other than that nice to see De Kleijn in the break. As leader he surely could have made the top100.
Congrats to Puma and thanks for the report. |

Top 10 for Storer which is a great result from him against strong competition. A good start to the season for the Aussie! Some decent depth points with a Top 30 and Top 50 in there too which is positive from the hills squad

We got in the breakaway so I'm happy with that. I expect that's how all the hilly races will look like for us.
Looking forward to someone eventually beating Herklotz

Lopez not with the result knockout was hoping for I guesss, but the team depth is pretty nice.
I really dont know how to feel about this. 3rd is solid/good but of course i always hope for slightly more with him. Team depth was good but when you have 3 domestiques in a 25 rider group and they finish 22-23-24, that feels like a wasted opportunity as well.
Guess i have to see this race as my start of the season with the first and only solid score so far.
Congrats cio and jandal!

Would have been nice to see Mohoric earn a Top 10 in our home race, just falling short in 11th. Being one of the few to attack may have gone against him in the final charge, but hey, can't fault the enthusiasm.
Gotta love the home power of the Luxembourg support crew though, with Geniets, Wirtgen and Ries all cracking the Top 50.

Automated SEO spam has become context aware now. Thanks AI.
On the race: 6th is somewhat disappointing from Lutsenko. But clearly MO played a big role so that makes it understandable. Dombrowski adding a 15th place does compensate a bit. |

No breakaway, but I'll take 18th by Aular Nice to see the big riders battling it out, and nice win for Herklotz again in the end. Thank you for a very fine report, kb!

Quite happy with 17th and 20th from our hill support squad here, hopefully riding in support of De Bie can get them into similar positions in other hilly races later this season. Congrats to cio on yet another Herklotz victory, and thanks for the report! |
