Well, I wonder if you'll stick with that strategy if you should get one of the disband promotion spots after all
Otherwise, surely a very interesting path, just not great that you won't be able to spend all the potentially incoming money on training when you're left with just U25 riders... Looking forward to see what your strategy is!
Good luck anyway, and it's for sure nice to have you staying in the game

Sounds like you found the aspect of the game that most interests you and are now shaping your team identity around it. Part of the beauty of MG is that there are lots of different ways to play it. Going for as much talent development as possible surely is an interesting one and one i sometimes with would suit my current team plan better. Im sure youll enjoy playing around with the stat gain tables with all the new and upcoming talents!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

I had the same thought, but maybe it'll just go into the training infrastructure for the talent factory in build here? It's clearly an interesting project you're planning, though having more competition for the talents isn't exactly good news for us ...

What can we say about this? I think we finished the Season in Style! And with all the good results we could get our names back into the Promotion conversation because it was clear that not just the Top 5 would promote, also the 6th and 7th.
Honestly I am very happy with most of the result and once again Ruben Guerreiro did an amazing Job. Finally Beka Nareklishvili & Willi Willwohl also did show what they are capable of and brought in nice Points. And though it wasnt the results and points I wished for from him, but Ruben Zepuntke did also score well here and in general his season wasnt that bad. Just a lot below what we wished for.
And so with that we can see our final Result:
Pos | Team | Total | 1 | Newton Foundation p/b Zwift | 2041 | 2 | Gjensidige Pro Cycling Team | 1588 | 3 | Trans Looney Tunes | 1564 | 4 | Simba Cement - Tanga Fresh | 1466 | 5 | Duvel-Tsingtao | 1235 | 6 | Team Würth MODYF | 1220 | 7 | Genii Hyundai N Cycling | 1208 | 8 | Spark Team NZ | 1115 | 9 | Glanbia | 1098 | 10 | Ethiopian Airlines | 997 | 11 | SEE Turtles | 995 | 12 | Euskadi-Murias | 989 | 13 | Euskotren - Pays Basque | 983 | 14 | Cervelo Test Team | 946 | 15 | Zain-Omantel | 862 | 16 | Babymetal | 648 | 17 | Hilcona Racing Team | 619 | 18 | Air New Zealand-Alfa Romeo | 582 |
We made it! With a strong finish of the season we almost miracously made it and will be cycling in PCT next year!
Lets look once again at our individual performances:
Pos | Rider | Nat | Total | Rating | 6 | Ruben Guerreiro | POR | 355 |  | 7 | Ruben Zepuntke | GER | 332 |  | 40 | Harm Vanhoucke | BEL | 152 |  | 62 | Willi Willwohl | GER | 107 |  | 77 | Beka Nareklishvili | GEO | 81 |  | 108 | Kobe Goossens | BEL | 52 |  | 117 | Victor Campenaerts | BEL | 45 |  | 155 | Kevin Predatsch | GER | 28 |  | 202 | Nicolas Heinrich | GER | 15 |  | 204 | Christian Mager | GER | 14 |  | 205 | Theo Reinhardt | GER | 14 |  | 240 | Jason Osborne | GER | 8 |  | 251 | Sakari Lehtinen | FIN | 6 |  | 252 | Warre Vangheluwe | BEL | 6 |  | 260 | Darren Van Bekkum | NED | 5 |  |
In the End both Rubens carried us to the Promotion. While Vanhoucke did a good job too. Also Willi scored well and Nareklishvili could score a lot in this last part too.
While we are really happy with Guerreiro and Vanhoucke this year. We are also okay with Zepuntke who did score nice but we just wished for even more and with that it would have been a less thrilling season. Willwohl did score again almost like every year but this was again not overwhelming. Predatsch was not so good this year and always lacked a bit. In the end Mager is the only one we are slightly unhappy with. I think he should have shown 50 Pts at least but maybe because he was never in a leading position he couldnt.
------------
CONCLUSION After the season really didnt go well in the first half we could recover in the second half and finish really strong. It was a difficult year that almost lead to a complete disbanding but could be saved on managment level and in the end also on the sporty level!
While we hired Guerreiro as a leader in the end we are really happy that he exceed our expectations. One thing I am really happy about is that in our 2 three years we got stronger and better every year by a step, this progression was really great to watch
Now we are going to participate on level higher next year! And while it should be natural that this will lead to another step it most likely will not!
Our vision and concept for the future doesnt have changed a lot! With our new partner we decided to follow the new path to make stars and not buy them and so we will do!
---------
Since this will be more than just a change of sponsors this will be our last "official" post in this HQ. With the new Team name, location, team concept and vision we will start a new HQ soon to show what we've got and plan for the future!

It was a great battle between both of our teams all the way until the last race - congrats on the promotion.

@ivaneurope:
Thank you, yes it was a thrilling finish and something i couldnt think of a few months before but we did finish really strong.
@AbhishekLFC:
Thank you too. PCT money will for sure boost our project quite a lot even if this may not reflect in results the first year.
@Laurens147:
Thanks! Zepuntke just decided to make this more of a challenge for us. He did okay but not great. I guess so too transfers will be interesting this year with our concept.

Not to throw shade at these guys, but I expect the talent factory to be far more impressive this time next season

Okay but now really, my final Post here!
Lets look at our Goals and what we could achieve.
Race | Goal | Result | Team Standings | Win | 6th | GP Herning | Win | 5th (Nareklishvili) | Lincoln GP | Win | 6th (Zepuntke) | Tour du Faso | Win | 3rd & 4th (Nareklishvili & Zepuntke) | Lillestrom GP | Top 5 | 9th (Zepuntke) |
We clearly failed all of them. Also our goals were pretty amtitious in the first place but they werent out of reach when you look at the final result at the end, except the Team Standings probably. We probably should have counted more on Guerreiro in the first place too.

Nice bunch of talents to get the factory warmed up for bigger things to come
Those goals were always going to be hard to achieve but with a bit more luck at least a couple should've been possible.

Nice to see all the development going on here, especially Roel, Einhorn was particularly thankful for his help on the sprint stages
