how nice of the Ghost of Crashobank to not show itself until I get hope now for a overall win.
all this crashing even before potential deciding moments (or even any relevant moments) really lost all sense of pain after a while

Aren't some of your personal heroes convicted dopers though?
Yeah so what, glad they got caught and if they get caught again the better. Still can cheer for a rider if I like their attitude. To make it dependent if someone gets caught or not in a field of dopers is pretty nonsensical tho, you should want cycling to be clean, not your individual heroes. And looking at it, the sport continues to fail
So then why play high and mighty on the people that "care more about fair game and unwritten rules than racing clean" when you clearly don't care about racing clean
Oh man, reeeally?.. again: I want a clean sport, that is what I am saying. Bullshit like waiting for race leader is just cosmetics. Can I still like riders that dope? Yes, otherwise why bother at all. Am I happy those riders get caught? Yes. For the good of the sport. Does bullshit like "dont attack leader when crashed" gloat over the actual issues? In my opinion, very much so..Dont forget that this bullshit was celebrated between Ulrich, Armstrong and Co. Cold blooded cheats. But yes try to sell it as high and mighty. Alternatively try to troll less and comprehend what people are posting

Not a win to be proud of imo, but yeah they don't have to wait. Crashing and mechanicals are part of cycling. |

I don't think you comprehend your own posts.
You came in acting all high and mighty on people calling out that dirty move instead of focusing on the fact that Roglic is probably doping. So people shouldn't enjoy Roglic's wins or defend him in this scenario because he is a cheater.
Ok. Fair enough.
But just one post later you came in praising Contador. A convicted cheater. So it's ok to praise cheaters and forget about clean cycling as long as it's cheaters that you like that are being praised on
My point is just like you tell us how great Valverde and Contador are, the same way some of us enjoy watching Roglic. So I find it hypocritical of you for calling out people supporting Roglic because in your opinion is a cheater when you support and admire cheaters yourself.

I am talking about hypocritical unwritten rules about sportmanship in cycling when the real issue is doping. Please separate topics. This is done for me.

Yeah sure thing man. You were talking in general. The fact that this happened to Roglic had nothing to do with your comment. I truly find it hard to believe you would have posted the same thing had it happened to a rider you like.

Have you ever compared it to the doping issue though?

Before today, I meant. You clearly only brought the doping comparasion up because of Roglic.
But yeah, time to drop it.

It seems Vingegaard snatched another victory. In Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali. |

Marco Brenner 8th on a decently difficult day.
I apologize in advance for what the forum will have to endure from me for a third time in just five years.

Cavendish seems to have finally gotten over whatever long term illness he has been suffering from for the last few years.
Obviously he's not going to get back to a level to compete at the Tour de France, but at least he seems to be going out with some decent results rather than just rolling around in the peloton for the first half of the year before quietly hanging up his wheels half way through the season as I think some were expecting.
He really should have had a go at some of the one day classics when his top end speed started to go. He's clearly got the power for the short sharp climbs. He could have had a decent go at some of the classics if he had given them a proper go.

Youngsters galore today.
Specially the third placed rider in today’s stage in Catalunya. |

I haven't seen him race, but I read that Brenner and Ayuso are two youngsters with a bright future. |

Yates beat the climbing record today. So did the remainder of the podium. |

Yates dominated there. Kuss was probably a bit weaker than expected.
And obviously we knew this already, but Ineos is stacked. Maybe more so than ever before.

Guess it's time for my semi-annual "Chaves might be top class again now" party. Love to see it Would really love a great year for him if he can gain some momentum, especially now he should be 2nd top stage racer at BikeExchange (Lucas Hamilton surely will only continue to push for leadership though I guess).
