Yessssss!! Just the perfect race by Naesen, exactly how I imagined the absolute best-case szenario. He really seems to have a nose for these types of finishes and his speed is then usually unmatched, as it was here. Second big win of the year for him after GW, and as Shonak says, he's justifying his considerable price tag, super happy about that!
Thanks for the congratulations everyone The season is going much better than expected, even with duds like what Selig is doing in the Baltic Chain Tour right now. Promotion is still not on my radar though, Nemolito, if I can join you in the Top 10 at the end of the season I'll be more than content
Very happy for TinxiaS as well, glad to see you so excited And thanks for another great report redordead!
Thanks I mean this was the best result of this season for my team

Haha, of course AKA wins the sprint on the day attackers are ahead.
Nevertheless, this was always a profile where attackers could do damage, so no complaints here. Naesen played a perfect race and it was a deserved win for him. Congrats to cunego and the other attacking teams!
5th was within the goal we set out yesterday and will be just fine, especially since other top sprinters teams were behind us. I was afraid the hills would take too much out of AKA, but on the contrary they might have made his flat and resistance matter more in the finale. Something for me to think about.
Thanks for a great report!

Disappointing that Lobato seemingly didn't get treated as a sprinter here, at least we got a lot of breakaway time.

Dang breakaway Wippert had a good sprint. Still a good top 10 but could've been a podium!
Congrats to the winner and great report!
