ok i have continued to lose the battle to convert my .avi files into dvd files and then onto divx so that thy will play successfully on dvd.

i have once successfully used a program called DVD flick but that didnt work properly tonight and didnt give me the image i had asked for.

does anyone know a good free program - or one that can be attained for free that can convert avi to dvd files successfully - or some other way i can do it

please help this is shitting me up the wall Frown

Well if you have a rapidshare account, or a LOT of patience, you can obtain a lot of free avi converters from here.

Or if you want a 15 day trial of divx converter (and you get the rest of the packages - like the player, dvd burner, and codec, etc) go here.
