All was well in Kazakhstan, Vinokourov was not doping at all, Borat was, but Vino wasnt. He went to the Worlds in 2006 in a jolly mood:

But the smile was wiped from his face as the Burkina Faso beat him in an arm whestle and Vino was so depressed he decided to go back in time and dope throughout his career.

seriously, I loved Vino's comment during the Tour: "they say I got a transfusion of my father's blood. that's silly. if I did I'd have tested positive for Vodka"
