Yes, you read right. And I'm not going nuts. The UCI has decided to make Tour Down Under a Pro Tour race. Therefore, the Pro Tour will now start on the 20th of January 2008 |

That's good for Australian's everywhere, this may result in people peaking too early though
as it is what? 2 months earlier than they normally would ride 110% for
YORKSHIRE BORN, YORKSHIRE BRED...

This will mean that, even as a ProTour race they will not have the bunch of stars they hope. As Addy said, is too early to pick, but who knows, there are surprises everywhere.....

we'll start to see some very mediocre riders winning ProTour races then...
can Bouyges play an all-or-nothing there and have a chance of not finishing last in the team rankings?
