Me too. Saint Seiya was one of my favourite shows. Amazing. Kids nowadays have grown up and are growing up watching shitty cartoons and poor imitations of shitty anime. It makes me sick.
There's a renewal about Saint Seiya, since 2002 and the Hades chapter OAV, so it's modern now, in a way.
btw., there are new series about Saint Seiya published nowadays as comic stripes (manga books) in Japan. Lost Canvas is quite good, it's about the former war against Hades with young Shion and Doko.
They used to show repeats of the raccoons on mornings before I went to school - I have fond memories of eating breakfast while Cyril Sneer did his evil plotting...
