Well ive been using an old version for a while as the newer versions dont work. I can now not sign in as when I do it tells me that I must install the new update, I click to let it do the update but it crashes before completing it every time.
So I cant log in to MSN because it says I have to update, but I cant update it because it justr crashes.
Help?

have you tried uninstalling it before you do that?

Problem is that there's a security hole in the old versions. For that reason, Microsoft has decided that you may no longer use the old versions.
If the new versions of MSN Messenger doesn't work, I'd suggest to use the multi-platform software, for example Trillian or Pidgin. |

Update it...It's temporary...the 85 version is better, I've heard that...install the beta version of 8.5, and when it is lauched you install the final version...
Version 8.1 sucks...
