The last race in National Cup is Tour de l’Avenir and in the lead is the new t-mobil rider Tony Martin
Today it was a 27 km tt and Chtioui won

Due to strong winds (I think) a group of 21 won 6 minutes on the pack in a race-winning break. Hagen was not amongst them, wrecking his GC hopes

yup, the tour of l'avenir is a youth competition that always ends with a couple of hard mountain stages.
whoever wins is usually guaranteed to one day become a good rider (not a great one...)

The only 'super' rider to win in the last 10 years is Denis Menchov, and hes not too bad when he's going well, like today.

Yes Intxausti wil take them all in the moutains. Only Bauke Mollema can sit with him.

Herrada attacks whenever the slope starts rising. A real attacker on hills and mountains.
It will be between Mollema, Martin and Intxausti, although I'm really having my doubts about Intxausti's form. Every hilly stage he lost seconds on Mollema and normally he wouldn't lose time today too if he was really good. |
