Giro d'Italia 2010

Every single team has at least 1 rider in the breakaway group. This could be very interesting

*Thinks Arroyo suddenly has a chance of winning a Grand Tour*

Still, a loooooong way to go, both today and to the end of the Giro.

Also Xavi Tondo shows the other day great shape, and the last TT is not long enough for Wiggings or Millar...

A break of a billion riders lol. Does that count as a break or can we say they dropped the rest of the peloton?

Exactly my thoughts - this is amazing Grin

Does anybody knows how the cut was done?
Accidents, attacks...

There is a long way to go after this stage. BUT Wiggins and Sastre? You have to fancy that they will be better in the mountains at the weekend.

Arroyo, Porte, Tondo have ridden well in this Giro and I wouldn't even rule out Guerdemann.

I don't know whether it will stay together or not its hilly at the end.

But what an amazing surprise when I logged onto computer.

It looks like the Androni riders are waiting for Scarponi.

What a strange Giro. Me like!

Sastre needs something like 5-7 minutes on Vino to beat him in the overall. I'm more interested in Agnoli and Kiserlovski to be honest.

115km to go. With 16:56 the winner is almost certain to come from this front group. Most likely we'll see another escape group form, but if it stays together Matt Goss (HTC-Columbia) will be a good bet for a sprint win.

Go cyclingnews, all the australians are godlike...

Correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't this stage end on a climb?

Thanks!!

I would be immensely surprised if Goss would win. It's too uphill for him I think.

Imo this one is looking set between:

Efimkin, Moncoutie, Pozzovivo, Agnoli, Bakelants, Lloyd, Cataldo, Pineau, Caruso, Gerdemann or Chris Anker.

Sure this groupe will make it. I mean, you cant say the peloton has much of an advantage now for being a big groupe... Plus Cervelo, Saxo, Sky, Caisse etc. will keep setting a pace with enough riders. And with equal strengths, a 15 min. gap is not going to be closed Grin

Too bad There's no Mollema or Weening in there from my Dutch perspective. But at least we should get to see some interesting racing (again!) Smile
