Great and heroic race. Respect to all those who finished, and mainly to Traksel. He did the full ride from Brussel to Kuurne with headwind in the first groupe. Flens looked like the strongest to me, but Traksel fooled us all. Great tactic by Hilain van der Schuren I must say. (Well, he couldnt have known an attack from +- 90km would make it but...)

Great to see a Dutch one two of course Grin
But for the rest, no Boonen, nor Flecha, no Ballan, no Haussler, no Chavanel, no Nuyens. None of that. But Traksel, Flens and Stannard. Great podium for such a race.

And Bos... yes... what can I say?
Told ya he'd be progressing. Slowly but steadily. I remember a few days ago when I mentioned Bos winning the London Olympics as a joke, noone would give him a chance. An now what? Pfft
Love it. Go Theo! Grin

Yeah, you saw that right.
Bos beat Cavendish.

So, who again said Bos is overrated in my databases Pfft

Wow, Bos who has raced quite a lot beat a very out of form Cavendish. The same Cavendish who had a dental problem forcing him not to train not 3 weeks ago. Wink

Apperently Simon Spilak got hit by a car in the GP di Lugano. Like half of the field stept out of the race afterwards because the route wasn't secured enough.

A nice answer to you guys who said Bos couldn't survive mole hill, look at this result, (and the profile of the race). Cavendish can't be that much out of shape if he survives this and finishes 2nd.

But hey, I know, it's sometimes hard to admit when you were wrong about a rider Grin I should know.

I never said Bos couldn't climb a mole hill. He rode the Tour of Turkey and was in the mix everyday, that proves he can climb Wink

the point about bos and the olympics was mostly the distance, not his sprinting ability

We should really stop the Olympics talk, it's only around right now because of Vancouver.
Let's talk tour stages, 3 TDF's until the Olympics Wink

Yeah I know, but stages in GT's should be possible. If Brown is able to win those (years ago though), Bos should be too, at least in Vuelta

This is what happens when Cavendish doesn't have a superior train (I say this because I've just seen the sprint on TV)

well if yu want to know the odds it's 100% becasue in his victories list in 2010 it says K-B-K. If you wanted the odds of the fact it was updated yesterday you have to remember Wikipedia can be edited by anyone.
