by this time of the season, god knows.
it's pretty much impossible to name favorites from now on for anything other than the Vuelta. and even then it's pretty hard.
the reason is the form of each rider is a complete question mark by this time of the season. |

Yes it would be very very good for the team if a rider won! |

Rujuano is in the team so it's a slim possibility, even more so now he didn't ride the Tour, he will be freshest

Matteo Carra could have a good chance too. He can climb and sprint a bit cant he?

I'd love it if Unibet won, but it's a long shot. there are too many people who can win. if I had to bet, I'd go with Joaquin RodrÃguez. |

I think Unibet is gonna attack every second they can, they got some riders who can handle this terrain really well. Allso the names samtheman said I would expect to do good. And what about last years winner, Florencio???
Probably Bettini in his preparation for the world champs will test his form, and maybe Valverde is better now then in the tour... |

I thought about naming Florencio, but I think he'll be a bit tired after the Tour and he isn't quite as good as Rebellin |

Valverde can also win this.. It's said that he's in good shape the last week of TdF and considering Vuelta participation. |

i think valverde has a good chance...
he has something to prove after the tour, he has a strong team and the co-leader for san sebastian, Joaquin RodrÃguez, is captian for the race on sunday....
just a guess, though
as allready said, its really, really hard now to say who is in form, i think it gets easier after the vuelta for WC and giro de lombardia |
