I blame the PCM Daily Expansion Pack for saying that Jean Christophe Peraud was the best rider not to win a world tour event. Coppeol? Really? And wiki said that Staelens was the most popularly seacrhed player, so I went with it.

Yeah sure thats the goal, but I as well would have never thought that a lot of GUYS choose Bieber over Cobain. It's not about that I think it's right or wrong to answer one or another. The majority of the players seems to be younger than I thought or else I think they would have probably chosen Cobain more likely.
I really thought my volleyball player would be better, took me quite some research to find at least anyone

I am curious.. how did you use the DB to pick the best French rider without a WT win? Did you filter for the best French riders and searched/remembered each of their palmares?

Well, she might be one of the sexiest Belgian volleyball players (of those who have an English page on Wikipedia ), so that could be the explanation
Actually I've never heard of her.. Wikipedia says that she only played in Belgium in the youth categories, and then moved to The Netherlands (probably because she could get more oppportunities there).. That's why I don't know her 
Actually the picture on Wikipedia shows her (and her sister next to her) in the jersey of the Netherlands so she's not 'really' Belgian It's a bit the same case as Wout Wijsmans with Italy
