If he will be catched now he will stay 2 years and come back
But if you are caught at amateur and caught again at professional don't they give the life suspension ? because is the 2nd time ?

i seriously doubt, Ricco, even though he is the type of cyclist you might think would take drugs (arrogant etc.) but he got dropped on a few mountain stages and i doubt that if he took drugs he would get dropped as he did
This is not argument for me...Ricco is good glimber (more classic race rider for me)...But he is definetly not climber elite like Simoni..Cunego..A.Schleck..Piepoli. After month I am even more extatic about Andy. If you say can be doped also doesnt matter, what a pacage. |

I think the saddest thing of all is that I actually was hopeful that this Giro would be clean. I guess some people never learn and old habits are hard to stop. |

Until "a cleaning " like in france was then never will stop
We all heard about fuentes case Ullhrich banned 32 to be real sacrificed basso almost escaped and scarponi now we here about jasckhe that we'll be banned or remain unemployed
But lets see the name that remained in cycling and they were said by spanish media Paco Mancebo ,Valverde GUTIEREZ CATALUNA ,Sevilla the whole Astana team now we see kessler and mazzoleni that they had been discovered
Why didnt they been handed renewal contracts at T-Mobile they knew something
What a pitty that this sport has a lost of young talents that go to use dope just to grow faster in qualities to be dubbed the new coppi or hinault

Never fear Phanekim. I am confident this year Tour will be clean. Certainly it will be much cleaner. |

If i am not mistaken i believe with regards to Ricco that as an amateur he failed no fewer than 3 haematocrit tests which saw a move to Panaria fail, but after a battery of tests in Switzerland in late 2005, the UCI certified that he was blessed with a high red blood cell count. After which he signed with Saunier Duval. |

actually stemple is right. Riccò has an exemption since his high red blood cell count is through the roof and supposedly it's a natural phenomenom. Cunego has the exact same exemption.
A bit like Botero had an exemption for naturally high testosterone levels.....

Not really Guido, as Mazzoleni has been under suspicion for a while and was not in the team anyway, even if he had of been he would have only been Astanas #4/5 in the mountains.

actually he was. several riders had mentioned him for the Tour throughout the season as a certainty. himself too. same for Kessler.
remember what I said a few weeks ago on this thread? that I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if 24 hours before the prologue, "misteriously" names of a few riders come to public and they're all out. call me cynical, but this doesn't end here.

Yep that was my point..why they bring up Puerto 24 hours before start...This wasn't coincidence. In cycling reality :When they gonna tell that some rider will be replaced because some sicness..I don't "swallow" that anymore.

If they just legalize it, it would be the same for every rider and they would compete on equal terms. Then it's just who is in the best shape who will win.
And Cycling is still exciting eventhough they are doped right ??
Disagree. There is no reason to doing that. It doesn't match the sports spirit and it is unfair.
Riders won't work harder and we will watch to the winner as the rider that has the better doping program.
No, no...never give a chance in this situations.
sorry i woke up so late in this topic...but i agree with Enqlebass.....doping will NEVER be stopped so...better than scandal all should be allowed to dope....remember that the most spectacular TdF's ( for me at least) were the ones with Pantani,Ullrich,Virenque and Riis (all of them dopped) fighting for the GC. after all...if u can't beat them ...join them |

If its that way then its just who dopes better...it would kill cycling because it no longer becomes about in-race strategy, training, it'll be just doctors doping up their guinea pigs. I feel what the UCi is doing right now is fine and correct. Cycling is one of the few sports that doesn't sweep its cheating issues under a rug. Thus, we should give it time. |

Sry. guys but this isn't resolution to the problem.
What is cycling: sport (correct?)
what is sport (not just top) : movment (health)
You cant f**k with peoples health to get entertaiment..this is against humanity.
Thats why I almost hate American sport...all beaty and style has almost gone..people want-demand violence and blood...NFL and most of all I grieve for hockey..these days Gretzky will be nobody ,just some bloody mark on ice.
What fun we had last year TdF stage 17. (if i remember it correctly) all teams was confused: How long mr. Landis gonna go so fast (this was over the normal human limit).
