Contador to provide DNA!!!!!!!! I'm so glad Alberto has decided to follow Jorg's example.

don't you mean Ivan's example?

the "now that I'm finally sure I won't have to provide it, I'll suddenly say that I'll provide it if needed" example?

at least contador wants to cooperate with the investigations.
you can give him credit for that.

that's what I'm getting at: he doesn't want to. he's just saying that to try and clear his name.

Basso said the EXACT SAME things that Contador is saying now before he was caught...

litllemagnum
how can you know that??

how can I know what?

that he doesn't mean it? simple. he never said he would give blood before the investigation was closed. only now that Puerto's been stopped in Spain.

the investigation has ended, so that will not happen.

the only investigation right now on him is by WADA. and that investigation doesn't have access to the blood bags of Puerto. so they can take his DNA all they want that it will serve no purpouse, since they won't be able to compare it to the blood seized in Puerto.

isso, WADA is AMA in your country, isn't it?

huh? I don't know what you mean. and I don't know what AMA is.

MarcoPRT
I suppose it is...

By WADA you mean World Anti Doping Associassion, right?

If you don't read Record, they call it AMA, Associação Mundial Anti-Dopagem...

in the wise words of a fanatical Benfica fan that I know:

"nobody reads Record unless they want April first jokes every day" Wink

but seriously, yes, that's what I mean by WADA Smile

MarcoPRT
Yes, I have to agree that they lie each day with every tooth they have in mouth, and about cycling they almost talk about doping and no more.

unfortunately that's true of most of the world's media nowadays. always looking for the scandal and nothing else.

it's only natural. if every day a paper came out saying "everything's fine and dandy" it wouldn't sell Frown

like I've said, it's like that in most of the world.

Astana's Marc Biver was summoned to appear today before the UCI representatives. let's hope this is the end of Astana as a ProTour team...

super-domestique Matthew White has already found a new team. he'll be riding for Slipstream-Chipotle. good signing.
