Six-time world hot-dog eating champion Takeru Kobayashi will not win for the 7th time this year. According to himself, a jaw injury has left his training unsatisfactory and he is only operating at 50% really.

Takeru Kobayashi almost won the world championship despite his jaw injury. For the first time in the long history of the world hot-dog eating championship, they had to go into overtime (dont ask how) where the 24 year old american Joey Chestnut outate Kobayashi by a small bit of hot-dog to claim his win.
