wow, i was impressed. Cancellara what speed, remarkable.
I was on the 50 meter line and laughing at the start at the Skoda Fabia 'Love at first drive' dance. If your going to the tour this year, you'll have a laugh...
The first sign of action was the horseguards parade (and yeah, the horse did do a whatsit right on the finish line, Royal Parks came along and cleaned it up)
When the first rider came off the start ramp there was a huggge round of applause, then we got the traditional tour finish commentator for us. Such an amazing day. We were treated at lunch time to watching Wimbledon and at several points during the races (those of you watching France 2's coverage will know what i mean).
I had a fantastic day, but unfortuantly forget the video camera and the digital camera. Never fear i do have some high quality mobile phone images though comming.
3 weeks tomorrow i'll be on the the Champs Elyeses watching the riders all over again!
I'll post a full report tomorrow

i have 110 photosB)B)
from the presentation, prologue and Stage 1
i have pm'd Crue with my slight problem of it taking ages for these photos to uplad, but i promise i will put more up tomorrow/ day after (not all 110)
the prologue was aweseme got right on the front row, Cancellera was incredible he almost overtook the motorbike in front on a corner, obviously Bradley did well getting 4th but will be slightly dissapointed i'm sure.
Stage 1 was great as well, i saw it going over Black Friar's bridge, during the celebratory ride from Trafalgar Square to Tower Bridge
and the presentation was great as well
just a great weekend in general |

it must've been 2:45pm
i know it was far too late, but i had a wander round and found a perfect place too watch/take pictures on constitution hill about 50 yards before the riders went through an arch (it was huge, don't know what it was called)
O'Grady crashed just around the corner all you could hear from the crowd was oooooooooh, didn't actually see it, we just knew it had happened from the sounds |
