It doesn't seem to be any "huge" problem for any of them. Only Mayo could be in problems, but as issoisso says, it's too early to conclude anything. |

Mayo is clared so it seems like it`s not a problem at all (even though the norwegian newspaper VG tried to make a big case out of it)

Piepoli and Petacchi both admit that they take some medicine for astma and allergic |

But they are allowed to do so, so no one is in trouble. |

You have to get a license to use it, before that was here nearly everyone used one. |

Just another attempt by the media to discredit our great sport. It is disgusting. |

Italian newspaper La Repubblica is reporting that after the Giro stage to the Zoncolan, one of the urin samples taken from riders actually contained the urin of a child. Four riders are supposedly candidates: Di Luca, Mayo, Riccò and Simoni. La Gazzetta however states that not Mayo, but Mazzoleni was controlled after the Zoncolan stage. A full investigation by CONI is underway. |

Looks like Schleck is gonna be Giro champ. With these non negatives they just go back and run the test on synthetic testosterone like on landis. |

Wow that is strange. I could see all of those. Di luca - never seen him so strong, Mayo - amazing strength when he went on a one man break away, Simoni and ricco are probably less likely.

i seriously doubt, Ricco, even though he is the type of cyclist you might think would take drugs (arrogant etc.) but he got dropped on a few mountain stages and i doubt that if he took drugs he would get dropped as he did |

Yes and if simoni was taking drugs he would have been closer to di luca on several occasions.

I'm not saying I think either way, I'm just playing the devil's advocate here:
"on the other hand look at it this way. if he hadn't been doped, he'd just be an ordinary rider."

Let the tests be the judge. I actually am starting to have faith that the tests will prove guilt. They caught my boy landis...and to tell you the truth...I have to admit, even I think he was doping at this point. |

after reading descriptions of the video and audio recordings available to the judges of the oil for drugs investigation, I'd say Di Luca and Mazzoleni's chances of being judged innocent are somewhere in the region of absolute zero.

I actually think Ricco was caught with doping during his amateur career before he turned pro. |

And the prime-minister of Italy Romano Prodi said that Ricco and Nibali are the future of cycling because they were clean are clean and will be clean and they represent the future of cleaned cycling

All I know is that the then president of the italian cycling federation managed to delay Riccò's professional debut.
he kept saying he would never allow Riccò to turn professional since he claimed he knew Riccò was doped beyond doubt.
after a year he was finally forced to give in and Riccò turned professional
