Is this the end of his carreer?
Probably...
I really hope Contador doesn't wear the Yellow Yersey tommoro
in the past whenever this has happened, riders have always refused to wear yellow in the first stage... |

I hope it doesn't - cycling needs to stand up in the face of doping (and if this isn't what Rasmussen is stopping for (I'm very confused at the mo), then ignore this)

I think Prudhomme will let the tour start tommorow again...He is just like that i think.
Maybe the riders all quit! |

Prudhomme keeps it going...even if he had 50 riders left |

who knows...
officially it's because he said he was training in Mexico when he was in Italy. in truth...who knows???
the tour won't collapse, though. it needs to go on. and Evans being just 1:57 behind Contador is...well....weird.... |

no way it collapses. even if 70 riders were suddenly out like in 1998, it would still carry on. letting it stop is surrendering to doping. |

Exactly my point - I'll join up if there short of riders - that's how serious I am about them standing up to doping

Further news (I think), Rabobank will not withdraw their whole team, but give riders a choice of whether to start or not.

I mean I haven't quite settled in. I'm still startled.
can Evans win this? can Contador hold on? suddenly the excitement is back. and given the price...I wish it wasn't... |

I think we all need more info before we start making judgements - someone needs to call a press conference.
@SN, where did you get that info? Just curious, maybe it has more answers
