to I guess....NO ONE's surprise, Fabian dominates... well done...and no sprinters even remotely in sight of taking yellow in the next few stages.

Closest sprinters like Boonen and Eisel are around 45 sec. behind. I starting to belive that people who's gonna say that Boonen will suck totaly this year TdF should reconsider. |

i don't know the deal with my broadcasters, but when they cross the line the clock that has been shown ticking away, then jumps like 5 seconds to give them their official time. It is really wierd.
That's the case on Versus (United States) as well... |

Seemed like the mendoza line was at 9:13. I dont know what kind of dope Fabian and Andreas are on, but i'd like it. (justplaying). I'm just stunned at their times, they completely obliterated the rest of the field. |

Maybe for just stupid reason that we would not see one sprinter dominant (like Petacchi in Giro, and Zabel's old shows in TdF). Boonen have lots of chanches to snatch one maybe 2 of the victories. Anyway next days are sprinters show' ,after few stages we will be lot smarter in that issue

Cancellara was an animal!!!! Kloden looks good but we will have to wait and see if he can walk the walk against guys like Manchov, Evans and Hincape. Dekker did well. also did anyone else see weening ride.... he was so tall his back arched like he was the hunchback of notradom

About Klöden, I think he might have peaked too early. If you can do that so well so early I don't think you will be able to have the same amount of power in the mountains. Time will tell. |

Klöden is quite experienced rider in TdF..and he always has done quite well. He will in the picture thrue the end. Why dont test himselt in 8km. TT. Now ahead we have just flat stages. |

I agree. Klöden in my view IS that strong. don't get me wrong, this is not "a feeling". it's the conclusion of my reasoning. |

The Brits didn't do to badly. Wiggins 4th, and Geraint Thomas did great to get into the top 50.

I dont think Cancellara was a surprise...I think everyone pretty much knew he was favorite.
As far as Kloden goes, I'd wait to see more, but i'm more intrigued by the possibility of kloden and vino not working together.... |

I'd really laugh at lack of teamwork by Astana giving Sastre the victory...unfortunately Sastre lost 43 seconds on Klöden over just 8kms today |

I'd agreed to something a long time ago, before I realised the Tour was on the same day, and I couldn't get out of it.
More confirmation on just how sad I feel
